Been a fan of covers for a couple years finally putting in a first post. Eagles are on a roll and i think the week off for the giants is going to hurt them. Should come down to a field goal and the way Akers has been kicking = advantage Philly. Taking Philly +4

EAGLES OWND DA GIANTS, WON 4 OUTTA LAST 6 MEETINGS,

i'm on the eagles here, but it is worth noting that your stat is backwards... the giants have won 4 of the last 6.  the eagles did get them last time in the playoffs in 2006, with garcia for what that's worth

This is the same Eagle team who 2 weeks ago couldn't score a TD at Washington. Maybe windy at Giants stadium and the Giants have the running game. Eagles played 2 good games in a row, time for a letdown. Giants keep Westbrook in check, they win easy. Don't put AP on Westbrook. Eagles don't respect Hixon, watch for some long balls to him. If Giants run is on won't need passing game getting 6 or 7 yards a pop.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Giants -4.5....Philly winning by 12 is a thing of beauty for Giants backers.....gave us LINE VALUE. Line should have opened at 7. Did Philly really impress this past week????? If it wasn't for a 70 yard Screen pass TD and the inept Tavaras Jackson all game and throwing a pick for 6, you could have made the argument that Minnesota wins that game. The Giants don't have the best group of Wide Receivers but they are much better than Minnesotas and they have a very capable tight end. Eli will be able to throw it on philly and the Giants coaching staff doesnt have to scramble with preparing for a team they havent seen this season. Last meeting was a tough week for the Giants with the Burress fallout all week plus losing an unhealthy Jacobs very early in the game. Jacobs will be full strength and will be the difference.

umm not sure why you think eagles won last 4 of 6 if you check again it was split 3-3 and the giants won the last 4 of 7 (5-2 ATS) and the last 6 of 10 which i guess that matters to you so i just thought id straighten it out for you...

Giants lost to them at home in week 14 sorry iggles fans that wont happen twice this season..Jacobs hurt his knee in that game and came out early in the 20-14 loss which was a huge factor..Coughlin will have this team very focused and the defense will make McNabb look like he did when he got benched earlier this season

How did I know that you would be on PHILLY in this one....

I think the Giants will win with the NY crowd and swirling winds....

cover... I don't know.... I would probably take the points and pick Philly to keep it close

    one more HUGE thing....

    Punts....

you can bet that Jackson will not be running any 30-40 yard punt returns this week...

don't forget, he had 5 returns for 109 total yards punt returns yesterday.... MINN is the WORST SPECIAL TEAMS COVERAGE TEAM IN THE NFL.....

    now for my point...

the Giants have argueably the best Punter in NFL HISTORY.... and have very good special teams..... so you can safely predict that PHILLY punt returns will be to a minimum, and that they will be starting in their own territory most of the game....

I think the Giants will be able to Edge out a field position type win...

but I'm still on Philly to cover the spread as of now

agreed as above. 4 is a shit line. giants will need to win by a touchdown. this game will be down to the wire. giants are rested. 3 weeks is a nice break. they know each really good these two teams. i'll watch for some more experienced cappers and there opinions on the game. gl

have to roll with the G-Men at home vs the Eagles.  Giants have had the extra week to prepare, and I fully expect the champs to take care of Philly by double digits.
