this game really seems like a no play to me... that said I believe the Giants may be more motivated here, as the Jets have been getting all the hype etc... while the Giants seem to be forgotten... for the moment.  I love the depth at Dline for the Giants, and think if they are motivated can cause some problems for all the Jets Qb's but like I said, its a no play.... but gun to my head.. take Giants.. for now

Let's see if the Jets can walk the walk. They are doing a lot of talking this pre-season. Maybe they can make the Colonel some beer money.

 

Well, talking and/or walking aside, it really is about defensive depth and QB depth in preseason games.  The Jets have more of both.  Now, don't get me wrong as one of those Jets bandwagon shits cause I'm a Dolphins fan since 1983 and I absolutely hate the Jets.  But I'll be taking them tonight.

earliest action as of the 8/2 heavey on the giants, then public hits the jets ALL DAY EVERYDAY @ -2 bumpin it to -2.5 and now -3...although when the MONEYLINE opens this morning WHAM gMEN get backed on the PLUS money 80% to the jets 20%...hmmm... smart money doesnt lay a vig... PLUS MONEY TO THE BANK...

It's pre-season so trying to cap a game is tough. That said, I think the G-men are in for a terrible yr. I see them finishing last in their division and really having an over-haul in the off-season. Coughlin will want to get off the field asap while Rex will actually TRY to win and dominate the first game in the new stadium (he is that pig headed you know)...I see 23-13 Jets and think it could be worse than that.

pretty much got an ass kicking this weekend,need to make up ground.i'm thinking this will be all out war for bragging rights in the new house.1st game,mon/night ,may provide additional motivation here.gonna go NYG/OVER just because jets have been getting all the love in the press and giants are'nt afraid of jets.sanchez to me still needs to grow some more,with a little D,from giants, might see some mistakes turn into pts. 

Stay away from sides in pre-season.  You never know what the subs will do.  But the O/U lines present some possibilities.  Look for teams that want to show off a new offense (e.g. the Skins) or coaches who show a history of opening up the offense during exhibitions. 

Jets were over 4 of 4 last preseason and want to test (show off) Sanchez to Santonio Holmes and Braylon Edwards.  Giants were 3 of 4 over before the regular season last year.

Both starting units should score a couple of times before being pulled.  After that, leave it to 2nd string offense giving up turnovers.  I'll take...
