I also think the BYE week will hurt the Saints...

they had huge momentum that may be halted by a long break...

Bye week really helps struggling teams to adjust....

but in the playoffs sometimes the bye week kills momentum...

that's just my opinion, no facts backing that up.....

Sorry Z ,you are a "proffesional" infantile imbecile, making it incredibly hard to believe that you're over 18.

in my opinion,Saints want this game more . Perhaps to put themselves on the map, by Beating the best, much like Bengals beating defending super Bowl Pitt..Finally giving New Orleans legit hope, after Katrina.Out of all cities ,
New Orleans needs it the most and last but not least,

    dudeee
    advantages:

g men- one of the best o lines
             - perfect rush
             - one of the best d's in the leauge
             - eli is not scared ( which means he will throw the ball)
             - good road dog
             - have beaten new orleans before
             - are hot right now because of the 5-0 streak

saints- drew brees ( one of the best o lines)

    disadvantages:

g men- eli does not play well in the dome

saints- shitty ass team coming off a byweek
             - drew does not play well in the dome
             - not a good D to stop the giants from scoring ( they let detroit score 20, philli 20 something points, th bills 7 points) for cring out loud the browns didnt let a touchdown by the bills..
             - even that the o line is that good ( they scored only 17 points on the bills which means they are not on their a game every time)

get my freken point.... maybe the saints will do something but the safe play is the giants... enough with arguing..

I live in NY... so I get to watch the Giants as well as my team the Jets...

I have seen every game Eli Manning has played professionally including preseason

I also know that he is outstanding in the Dome...

Drew Brees....... is nuts.......... in a dome....

I agree with all of your points.... but I just had to correct you on that.....

Taking New Orleans Under Team Total. Look at how they were contained against a great Jets defense. Just ten offensive points. And, the Giants are better. Both were home games. Line should be about 24.

Hey, you guys know how everyone's on WASH because every team they've played thus far has been winless?

The Giants aren't far from there.  The only two teams that they've played that had a 1 win at the time the Giants played them were Dallas and Oakland.  Dallas' win was over Tampa Bay and Oakland's was over KC.

Are the Giants really as good as we think they are, or are they just a chance schedule away from being lumped with Washington?

Could the Giants win this one?  Sure.  Eli is poised, Drew, not so much.

But, I have to go with NO.  They're at home, they're coming off a bye and they have a better ranked Pass Offense, Run offense and a much better ranked Run Defense.

I do think that too many people are looking at this game with their hearts, not their heads.  Example; sure we could assume that the bye week hurt NO, but isn't a bye week usually considered helpful?

If this was Detroit playing the Browns, with all the similar factors, we probably wouldn't even be discussing this game.

I think the Saints are the heart bet, and the Giants are the head bet clearly in this situation.

The fact that Hixon is returning kicks and punts makes me happy. When Fleagles pins them down inside the 10 and when the Saints punt punt to Hixon, something's going to happen, good for the Giants.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

saint all the way.   if u guy expecting game to be over than it saint. drew won't be stop until he get the record he want. wat saint did to eagles proves that drop more than 40 point on good de is not issue. i like saint defense more than giant because saint def did a lot score this year. i even shock they make as much td as drew did.

The spread is trapping you to take the Giants. Don't fall for it. Take the home team. New Orleans all the way -3.5.

The NYG are a better team over all they're the more well rounded team. I took NYG +3.

Why then is 65% of bettors on Giants but the line is at NO-3 -125?

FYI Eli is having his best season to date thus far.  If he is not on the top of his game right now you have very high expectations.
