I don't know who is going to win...but just take the over 47.5.   Don't pound it, but would u really want to take the under?  are not both teams capable of scoring 20-25 points each...at least?    I wouldn't bet on either team, but if I had to pick a winner I would take New Orleans.

This game is hard to call.My first inclination is to take the G-men all the way.Look who they have been playing?Nothing but chump team's.They won @ dallas by 2 & won by 6 @ home to wash. The rest of those win's are against Garbage team's.Atleat NO beat the jet's and philly.I think the over is the play here.I can't picture this game being like cleveland/buffalo 6-3 lol.

The Giants are an incredible 19-3 in their last 22 road games and 17-2 ATS in their last 19 road games. The wrong team is favored here.

Going back to last season, the NYGs played on the road the Steelers and the Cards (2 teams who were in the SB) and beat them both. Beat the Ravens when the Ravens and Giants were thought to be the 2 best teams in the NFL.

Now the best team is the underdog and getting points too.

Some say the Giants have not played anyone. Just look at the trends. Dallas could have won their game by just stopping the NYGs on that last drive, hot knife through butter. Giants play better on the road than at home. Their last game should have a shutout.

This will be a good game, i'll be there sec. 605.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

It's really hard to tell how good the Giants are. Their last 3 opponents have only won a combined 1 game out of 15 games played. The Giants are 5-0 against opponents with only a 24% winning percentage. The Saints are 4-0 against opponents with a 42% winning percentage. Not stellar but at least it gives some idea of what to expect.

My heart says Giants but my head says Saints............so I took the O 47.5

I would go with New Orleans in this one.  Giants are due to come up with a flat performance on the road.  New Orleans should be extra motivated at home because this game could have implications for home field advantage later in the playoffs.

Saints will be the ones flat for this game coming out of a bye they are 0-3 under Payton, say what you want about the Giants soft schedule so far even though the skins and cowboys aren't the greatest teams, they were early season divisional games which make them a little more impressive victories, the saints haven't even played one divisional game, and the last two have been afc teams.

This is the biggest game for both teams so far this year for playoff implications etc..  who will you trust,  the proven team over the last 2 + years or the team who is 4-0 with no divisional wins and have been a disappointment for 2+ years

do not make the same mistake people made betting against Denver at home in week 5.  4-0 teams will probably lose at some point.. but betting for them to lose at home because "they haven't played anyone" is BS.  Giants haven't blown anyone out, and the Saints went on the road to Philly and won.  If you HAVE to bet this game, take a 4-0 team that is playing at home with a line that's less than a TD.  Gambling 101.

Yeah, because last year means a whole hell of a lot.  That's why the Bengals will never beat the Ravens!  Or the Steelers!  Or the Broncos will never beat the Pats!

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.................

    GL on your Giants pick.

QFT.  Stay away from this one.  lots of other easy games this weekend.  Take what you were gonna bet on this game and put it on the eagles vs raiders this week.

Best way to cap this game is to resist playing either side of this game.

Anyone that wants to say that the G-men have "only played chump teams" is foolish...They have played bad teams, but they have beat them badly. The Skins, however, have played a bunch of teams that have yet to win any games, and they have barely won or SU lost.

head to heart...  yeah Cincy got some good wins against those teams, has nothing to do with NYG @ NO  like I said in another post I don't think the Saints bye week is going to be a factor either way for the most part.  But if someone is going to say NYG will come out flat, It has to be mentioned, but it won't matter whoever wins it wont be because of bye anyway.

The one thing that is truly making me stay away from this game when it comes to sides is the defensive stats for the Giants when they play on turf. They are giving up a hundred yards more than the Saints in that category. I think it will factor into this matchup.

But for someone who claims I didn't start watching football till this season, I would think you would know that Denver almost always beats the pats as of late, so you kinda contradicted your statement there but I know what you meant.

I tried to copy and paste the table into this message but it wouldn't let me. If you look at the matchup though on the right hand side look for the Grass/Turf stats.

In 5 games the Giants have only played one game on turf, that would be the game in Dallas. That was the only game that they had any real trouble defensively. On turf they give up avg 251 rushing yards compared to 82.5 given up by the Saints. Offensively they only avg. 97 yards on turf compared to the Saint's 155.

Total Defense the Giants on turf give up avg. 378 to the Saints 237.5.

I truly think that one of the reasons the Giant's had such a hard time in Dallas defending the run is because they have trouble on a turf field.

On the other side of the match defensively it is easy to see that on turf the Saint's are a better team in that respect as well and the Giant's could find it hard to open up and defending a running attack much like they did in Dallas.

Field turf is different than turf. Field turf is actually supposed to mimic grass. But it does beg the question why covers has them 3-0 on grass and 1-0 on turf.
