They should have covered, Vegas and Peyton were trying to ensure a Jets cover, but what I am saying is: The jets are so terrible they still couldn't do it. Geno being Geno. Peyton loves running up games in the 2nd half, but was intentionally trying not to so he could tie the all time TD record on a SNF prime time game for all the world to see and the sponsorship $$$$ keeps coming in. I thought it was pretty clear also Geno was sacked for a safety the play before the pick 6, but of course the refs were ignoring that to ensure a cover, but Geno blew that plan the next play.
I saw the entire Broncos team play at 50% speed and still get the cover. Jets are also signing people off the street to play tonight. This line is for all the Jets homers across the country who refuse to believe they have one of the worst teams in football. It seems like the Jets aren't giving max effort either. Tough to do when the entire team knows the best QB is on the bench.
