Poor choice of words dvugold....After San Frans performance of a teen fluffer in a gang bang last week,I dont see how they can even keep it close with the Saints this week.Anything up to -10.

The Saints are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in thier L-5 games vs the Niners dating back to October 2002. SF is a respectable 5-2 ATS in thier L-7 games in September but is only 5-5-3 ATS in thier L-13 games overall. Despite being the Super Bowl Champs the Saints are a lowly 3-8 ATS in thier L-11 regular season games which includes a 1-5 record in thier L-6. The lone win was a hook winner vs Minn last week as a -4.5 fav. However the Saints are 11-8-1 in thier L-20 regular season games as a favorite. The Niners are 8-2-2 ATS in thier L-11 regular season games as dogs. Might be closer than most people think but I also think that the Saints go marching home after a tough road win in SF.

My Guesstimate - Saints-34 San Francisco-13

SF +5: the niners were embarrassed last week. People were already penciling them in as the new kings of the west. Players were reading the press clippings. So now the public is pounding the Saints. I see a similar MNF upbeat game like this past Chiefs game. The intense coach will be playing the underdog roll at home on the Monday nite stage. The only black cloud will be Alex Smith, but at least he'll have a quiet crowd. I might wait til game time to pull the trigger in case the line rises.

Niners will be in this game right to the end. Taking the points in what should be a FG either way. Remember when good teams like the 49'ers are killed on the road and come home the next week they usually respond with a big effort. I think this line will be down to 3.5 or 4 by game time. GL to all!!

i think its gonna be close also.Its monday night and 49ers back at home have something to prove after last weeks lost.But i still say they become 0-2 as the saints do it again with the dramatic last minute win with a TD or field goal.Saints win by 3-7 pts

Listen, I know the 49ers are home and they are getting the wood but it was painful to see Alex Smith live up to his name of a big time bust. San Fran was so unorganized, thier offensive line looked scared and stupid and they were a nice 1-15 on third down. Its hard to get on them defensively, but the game was lost in in the first half when they had 6 points in the red zone and made 4 trips. Frank Gore also looked slow, I really didn't see a burst from him. The saints will blitz Alex and Breez and Shawn Peyton will bring passing attack. I just am so disappointed in the way San Fran looked last week, maybe I should give more credit to the Seahawks. Breez and that passing attack do thier thing. Saints 23  49ers 16.

Saint's will roll out there running and wear out the hapless 49'ers by the 1st half.  Thats right this match up will be over with by the 1st half.  The 49'ers arent going to have there problems fixed in one week.

Saints werent that impresive against a very strong "D" of the Vikings but there "D" was as impressive if not more. Against the downward spiraling San Fran 49ers' that got beat up by a metiocre team the Seatle Seahawks, this could well be the highest scoring game for my Saints all season. They say that the Sainst do not do well away but their first 2 games away last season was their 2 highest games against the Eagles @ Philly and against the Giants @ NY. They scored over 45 in both games. San Fran will try and keep up but playing against this "D" of the Sainst will be embarrassing. Sainst will score over 45 and hold San Francisco below 20.

Public will be all over the Saints. Niners looked really bad last week against the Seahawks.....lots of people will go for the cheese and get their hand caught in the trap with the Saints favored less than touchdown....I like Niners to keep this close and get the cover.

 Monday night home team dog rule..... Singeltary will have these boys ready to play after getting spanked last week. I'm waiting for the line to creep up before I pull the trigger but i like the 9ers

People pretty much remember the last game they see. The Saints just did beat the Vikings scoring 14 points at home. Now they are on the road and in what they must believe is not a big game. The 49ers were beaten bad and are out to prove something with their coach riding their butts all week.

Saints out of the dome, traveling, on grass. Every week you can expect a shocker, and this is it for this week. 49ers, SU.

Quick question what coast did Drew Brees play 3/4 of his career on and was it grass or artificial turf.  Give me the Saints last week they played a real football team and a real defence.  Saints cover anything up to 7. JMHO

I'm going to stay away from this one. SAints barely beat vikings at home and now they are on the road against an unorganized but hungry 49'ers.
