The first game for each team is a straight under play.......first teams play the least of any game in the preseason and teams are the most rusty and looking very deep on the depth chart.  1st cuts are coming in about 2 weeks.  Take the under and very few outcomes if you are playing real money, I say.  Every under in the first week with no outcomes played should pay money......if not, you won't lose much.  Also, stay away from the power teams.......they don't have much rebuilding to do.....they use the preseason mostly as deep depth analysis.  They really don't care about the W/L record.  Philly is the perfect example of this.  Teams like Seattle and Miami are among the best over the last few years in the first two games of preseason.  I'd stay away from Indy, N.O., Philly, G. B., NYG and SD.......Look at Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, Pitt, Dallas(because of deep depth), Oakland, KC and Chicago for money makers this preseason.

"This matchup reminds me of the old movie "Trading Places", as the New Orleans Saints are the team entering here as defending Super Bowl Champs and not the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick used to be a huge moneymaker during the NFLX, but with so many Super Bowls, these games have taken on less and less meaning the longer he strolls the sidelines. Looking at the Pats in early week one and week two games over the past three years, Belichick's Patriots have clearly been no-shows sporting a 1-5 ATS mark. Brady will get limited snaps and with no real QB to follow - don't expect much, especially after the knee injury scare. The Saints playing any other team here might be in trouble, but going to the last decade’s version of Titletown, should give them enough juice to get the win here vs. the disinterested Pats"

Best bet is Under.

Both teams practiced together, both coaches were sharing thoughts on the practice field, both teams and staffs don't want any more injuries.

This game will be a snoozer and Under.

Best bet appears to be the under,  but if you look at the style of these two teams play, they both depend on the pass first to open their running games. I'm looking for them to both test each other downfield early.  A couple of early first qrtr scores, should help it to hit the over. There's about  a 70% chance for the over. Regardless if its only a preseason game, they're two big time teams who just won't run through the motions here.
