Aints 0-3, won't lose by 9 even if Brees has to throw 70 times.

    Saints +9.0
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Life's a real bi-ch!.  Have you ever noticed after either happy celebration (like the players getting their SB rings) or a travesty where a team had a game taken away from them, that that team fails to perform as expected. Both teams are desparate for a win, but the Saints are in a better position to get it!

After a Green Bay lost  On Monday night  football bring back memories of how  the game should be played take Green Bay @ home for Green Bay fans -9  and under feeling sorry for the Saints should've made  the spread higher remembering Lombardi " Once you learn to quit, it becomes a habit." Saints 0-3 GB 3-1 @ home against the Saints with one big blow out 52-3 since 89.

Everyone is riding the Saints on this, GB is the play here.

We all know Saints will not go far this  year and probably will rank dead last.  2 stacks on GB LARGE, Good Luck on Saints backers, their bounty costed them and they are sitting quietly. They won't even see the playoffs this year.

Remember this is at HOME in Lambeau, Saints will have a hard time. TIME FOR ALL OUT OFFENSIVE ATTACK! Won't reach 50 points!

    GB - 31

    NO - 20

The Packers need to get the offense going and IMO the return of Starks with Benson will create major problems for NO and allow the WRs to find their groove.NO will get theirs also but no way does strike against the Packers two in a row....I'll let these numbers  and see if I can a lower spread or just jump on the M/L

Not overthinking this one - Packers win, fans cheer, "Lambeau Leaps" are leaping, and all is right in the world - - but, with three minutes left, Packers up by 7 with the ball - - and they sit on it.......

    Saints +9

Best point I have read on this thread. Although their run game is not terrible, it is not close to what the Redskins, Chiefs and Carolina were able to do. Also go with NO just because of what the guy above me (Bubba333) wrote. Every reasonable person on here knows there is no such as a lock or in Bubba's case "lock city"

New Orleans + 9 (If they lose by more than 9, take comfort in the fact that you were on the right side regardless)

How do 0-3 teams perform in their 4th game?   I suspected that they might have a good ATS record, because they'd give their best effort to win the game, keeping their hopes alive for a decent season.

I looked at all 0-3 teams over the past 5 seasons.   Surprisingly, their combined ATS record was only 13-15.   That's coin-flip territory.   Moral of the story, don't expect a bad team to cover just because they "need" the game.

Still......I lean to the Saints in this one.    9 pts is a lot to give Drew Brees, even if the Saints defense is pretty bad

Note:   the above ATS record is now 14-15 (since 2007), with the Browns cover last night

This is one of the more interesting match ups on the board in the preseason, but not so much now.  Two awesome teams last year that are both sub 500 now.  That will all change on Sunday when the packers put the formal nail in the coffin in the new orleans saints season.  The saints are living proof that coaching matters in the nfl.

The packers, on the other hand, have not put up the same explosive numbers as last season, but that will all change when the saints come marching into lambeau.  Look for Aaron Rodgers to find his groove with his elite group of wide receivers (looked like he was starting to in the 2nd half at Seattle.  They just messed up some redzone conversions).

The Packers, in my opinion, have actually improved from last season as they now have the number 3 ranked defense in the nfl and the number 1 defense against the pass!  That is night and day from last years team, which only lost 1 regular season game!  The packers will win big here.  Lets not forget that the saints just lost at home to the freaking chiefs.  Season Over Saints!

My sentiments exactly Sammy. So Greenbay struggled on offense the past three weeks but everyone needs to recognize that those were very good defenses. Also as you stated Greenbays defense is vastly improved!

    I have it 33-17  Greenbay

also you know the packers will try to exploit the run defence of the saints, and the saints will establish the run like they did with sucesss against the chiefs last week, packers o-line not sharp last week, and short week, saints passing game also laking, should be a good spot for the UNDER
