They have played a defensive minded team from the NFC being the Giants and this Seattle team is far more cohesive and talented defensively from the DL to Secondary. Yes Seattle played horrific on Sunday but guess what? They CAME BACK AND REFUSE TO LOSE. Yes GB let them come back blah, blah, but in OT it was new ball game and they couldnt stop Seattle when they needed the big stop. Bad games do happen but to come back on one of the biggest stages to overcome adversity in the worst way and win, tells me everything about that squad. Now lets look at last year's SB, everyone raved how Manning was going to pick Seattle D apart and yes many of you will be bias and say NO I KNEW SEATTLE WOULD WIN bc you think of Peyton in his current deflated form but many of you did believe he was going to beat Seattle last year and he got embarrassed. This is the thing for you ppl who just gamble and dont know football. You collapse the pocket on Aaron Rodgers when he's healthy and he keeps the play alive with his feet. You collapse the pocket on Peyton or Brady they either get sacked or they throw the ball in the dirt. Many times the pocket was collapse on GB yesterday and A-Rod kept the play alive with his one leg. Watch the first half of the Ravens game, Tom hates and despises pressure so bad that it makes him yell at the ref and say they are breathing on me throw the damn flag. Seattle knows if they can contain Blount this game can get out of hand. Chancellor matches up great against Gronk and not to mention their LB's can run with him. The only person who has a potential chance to do some good is Edelman. Watch the same recipe as the broncos, press the WRs at the line and bring pressure and make Tom beat you over the top and last time I check about 80% of Tom throws are throws are 15 yards or less. Do your homework and watch film ppl. The pats 4 losses this season are against aggressive suffocating blitzing defenses (Miami, Buffalo, GB, and KC). Yes the Pats destroyed the Colts but this is the same Colts D that let a no name Jonas Gray run for over 200 yds on them so I'm not in ah like the Pats are unstoppable. You give this Seattle D 2 weeks to prepare for an explosive offense and last year's SB proves what they can do. But at the end of the day that's why they call it gambling because you can pick who you want. Seattle wins back to back Super Bowl and let me jump on this line since its at a PK it line for 2 dimes. WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK
Pretty much you said everything I have said for the past 6 days... Green Bay matched up well with Seattle... if not for 20 miracle plays/or Rodgers being hurt, this would be a Packers/Pats Super Bowl... but it isnt... and NE just doesnt match up with this team....  Seattle controls this thing 30-21

no....it's called FOOTBALL LOGIC....either u know the game or you don't.  This is the MAIN game I would bet on. I look at the superbowl as a reward for faithful fans like most of us that actually watch the games week in and week out.  If u have watched both of these most of the season u should have a good idea of what to expect. I thought both of these teams could be in the superbowl before the season started and now here we are.  Also, I kind of look at it as disrespectful to call people who "dare" to bet on a superbowl as a BONEHEAD?   really?  wtf are u doing on a gambling site anyway if everyone else but urself is a bonehead?  that's like walking into a strip club and  saying..."wow...look at these perverts!..."  So would that make u if ur in the same place and same time?

I've called the correct spread on every New England superbowl ever except for the 96 SB against GB.  That's why Logically it's hard for me to imagine Brady losing THREE superbowls in a row.  I look at this as a take a 2nd mortg out on ur home type of game.  SERIOUSLY

Anyone who seriously bets a side on this Superbowl is a bone head in my opinion.  Other than a few prop bets, the only thing that I would bet is over in the 2nd half when desperation kicks in.

USC and Petey boy Carroll for an Odell's IPA.

Cheers to everyone! Good luck to all.

I think you are on to something in the SB. I just don't see how you can lose. I am certain which ever side you picked you are going to bankroll. Throw in an under bet also. That's a sure lock on both picks bro. There's no way you lose. But then again don't listen to me. I lost betting against both teams and I am confused as far as the side bet.

I was thinking pats under, but changed to sea over but came back with sea under or maybe pats + over? ....or maybe i should just tail you and let it ride.

If it comes down to the running game, Seattle has the edge, they WILL control the clock and sore. Seems like a no brainier. They just need to detain Brady and cover their top receiver Gronk on every play. Seattle will win in a close one. Tease Seattle to +8 and take over at 42 1/2.

As far as this game goes,im just gonna sit back and enjoy a primo superbowl!!For the fun of it, Im gonna go with the Pats and Tom Brady, who I think is the best QB in the NFL.I feel New England will want to show that they are just as good as the Hawks on defense and will stop the beast that is marshawn(which is a tall order),but you stop him and get negative first and second ,you stop the Hawk, its just as simple as that, gang tackle him and put the game in Russells hand, just like the Packs did for 3 and half quarters, but the Pats will do it for four full quarters, that will be the focus on this game,if they don't they will lose.

Idk about the best QB in the NFL...but certainly in ths game,& Seattle D is gnna make him look evn better...they had a hard enuff time stopping GB from marching down that field, regardless of all them drives ending in FGs...that was a soft coach playing it "safe"....don't really see that coming from pats next wk...I'm sure they'll b goin for it on 4th too... Lunch can get 200 & still doesn't mean they out score much less WIN..

It's always amusing at this time of year, that all the "newbie cappers" come out of the woodwork to give their wisdom on this game. Now I ask you- where were these clowns all season long? So let's analyze this game. Originally, the game opened with the Seahawks as 3 point favorites. As of late (many places), Seattle is now a 1 point dog. In my opinion , the sharps appear to be trying to "middle" the game.  The Hawks are the one with the superior  "D", especially against the run. The problem remains -can the hawks, stall and pressure Brady enough, from long protracted drives, as he "dinks and dunks" down field with numerous attempts to connect with Gronk?  Maybe -maybe not. See the Pats scoring some points. However, between the more mobile Wilson, and the inability (all game long!) to contain Marshal Lynch, will be the Patriots undoing. Call it what you like - but the game boils down to defense, ball control, and a more consistent ground game.

Man i totally agree on GBs coach, what a punk!!Pete Carroll would gone for it and Belchick would have gone for it.The dude was playing not lose, instead putting the pedal to the metal.Even if they didn't get it that had great position. The pats will contropl Lynch, thats the key,but they must do it the entire game or they will lose.

What??You better go back and  do your work Pal,New England will beat this team, they matchup extremely well vs The Hawks. The Pats will be sooooo focus on this game, and believe me thier defense will be excellent in this one game.Seattle should not even be here,if Green Bays p--sy coach had play to win and not to lose, went for  it in those one inch line deep in the red zone instead of fu--ing Fg,Seattle would at home watching this game.Seattle got lucky.New England will play to win and not settle for FG.Green Bay dominated the Hawks in Seattle, and then folded like a bunch of bitc-es.There in not one bitc- on the Pats side of the ball.

ADDED:Greenbays defense is not that good, especilly on the road and they shut down the hawks in thier house, but did not have bal-s to close the deal, won't happen with coach B boys.ThePats defense is 100% better than Greenbays, and i guarantee you, they are watching THAT game tape, exclusively.New England SU 2000.00,count on it,its gonna happen!!Heres the score, 24-10.They are gonna keep pounding Lynch and keep him with negative yards on important situations most of the game(unlike the Packers in the 4 qt) make Wilson beat them, like the Packers earlier did, until they lost  they're balls, but with DBS  the Pats have ,  Wilson will  have  no where to throw.Stop Lynch ,you stop the Seahawks, its as simple as that.Oh  yeah, don't give up ,and play the entire, and New England will raise that Lombardi trophy to the sky/

Newbie cappers? You're sounding like one!Seattle s lucky they are in the superbowl! The Pats are gonna watch that tape on how the The Packers kept Wilson in a vonal, hell I watched tape. They cut off his normal excapes lanes, and kept his little as- in the pocket ,and for the most part of the game, until they start playing not to lose.Man,you Hawk backers must be your out of your minds, if you think Coach B and his coaching staff  is not gonna look at that blueprint tape the Packers provided for,do not know how to handcap games, and in reality is a NEWBIE!!!

Don't get too excited and predict THIS game based on about 55 minutes of football from last game...No handicapper I know does!  I won't walk you through the entire 2014 season and show you why.

SERIOUSLY

SOMEBODY Gonna be livin' in a van down by the river!!  Hawks win this game by 6+

Dominated??  Russell Wilson made poor choice after poor choice in the first half. Doug Baldwin made a poor choice on a kickoff return.  G.B. didn't dominate the Seahawks...The Seahawks tried to hand it to GB. GB just didn't take the bait. Go back and see how many times Wilson has played like that in his career....have to go back to his rookie season...He is a gamer, and the Pats aren't gonna see the guy that played the first 55 min vs the Pack.  Luck, is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. NOBODY gets any more prepared than R.W.

Let's look closely at the NE Defense..Rodgers lit em up and GB def shut down NE "O".  KC Shut em down, JETS shut em down, Buffalo shut em down...I'll take SEA DEF over  any of those teams every time out.  They Played arguably only 2 good offensive teams. The Broncos (in NE) and The Pack (on the road)...talk about an overrated Def team...2 words for you  New England!!  Hawks by 6+
