If you look at the last 2 super bowls "Tom Brady" has played in bc that is what makes ppl lean towards the pats is him. They have played a defensive minded team from the NFC being the Giants and this Seattle team is far more cohesive and talented defensively from the DL to Secondary. Yes Seattle played horrific on Sunday but guess what? They CAME BACK AND REFUSE TO LOSE. Yes GB let them come back blah, blah, but in OT it was new ball game and they couldnt stop Seattle when they needed the big stop. Bad games do happen but to come back on one of the biggest stages to overcome adversity in the worst way and win, tells me everything about that squad. Now lets look at last year's SB, everyone raved how Manning was going to pick Seattle D apart and yes many of you will be bias and say NO I KNEW SEATTLE WOULD WIN bc you think of Peyton in his current deflated form but many of you did believe he was going to beat Seattle last year and he got embarrassed. This is the thing for you ppl who just gamble and dont know football. You collapse the pocket on Aaron Rodgers when he's healthy and he keeps the play alive with his feet. You collapse the pocket on Peyton or Brady they either get sacked or they throw the ball in the dirt. Many times the pocket was collapse on GB yesterday and A-Rod kept the play alive with his one leg. Watch the first half of the Ravens game, Tom hates and despises pressure so bad that it makes him yell at the ref and say they are breathing on me throw the damn flag. Seattle knows if they can contain Blount this game can get out of hand. Chancellor matches up great against Gronk and not to mention their LB's can run with him. The only person who has a potential chance to do some good is Edelman. Watch the same recipe as the broncos, press the WRs at the line and bring pressure and make Tom beat you over the top and last time I check about 80% of Tom throws are throws are 15 yards or less. Do your homework and watch film ppl. The pats 4 losses this season are against aggressive suffocating blitzing defenses (Miami, Buffalo, GB, and KC). Yes the Pats destroyed the Colts but this is the same Colts D that let a no name Jonas Gray run for over 200 yds on them so I'm not in ah like the Pats are unstoppable. You give this Seattle D 2 weeks to prepare for an explosive offense and last year's SB proves what they can do. But at the end of the day that's why they call it gambling because you can pick who you want. Seattle wins back to back Super Bowl and let me jump on this line since its at a PK it line for 2 dimes. WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK

Seriously, how do you expect anyone to read this? Find the frigging return key.

Everybody selling their own bulllshit, almost nobody talking analysis.

I don't know who in the hell is going to cover. You don't either. This ought to be a hell of a game, damn near a pick-em.

I like Belichick to plan on throwing the ball all game and minimizing the run game. Don't look at the Indianapolis game, look at the Baltimore game. In that game New England ran a dead minimum amount of plays and Brady chucked it all day long. IF this happens and I am betting it will the following bets look pretty good.

    over 47.5
    Blount under 62.5 yards.

Belichick doesn't have a go to guy for rushing all game. He is notorious for benching a guy like Blount for fumbling or who in the hell knows why....He's Belichick

Sorry I haven't posted on this forum before but as God as my witness I have been killing it on the last 7 SB's  (Seattle ML, Ravens +pts, Giants + pts & under X2 vs Pats, Packers ML, Saints ML, Cards + points) BUT THIS ONE IS TUFF!!! Not confident at all...  Maybe time to fade me???!!!???  My initial thought was NE & Under if you want to fade me.

I really do think it will be a close game (24-23 or 20-17 kind of game) that the Pats (who I hate) will barely win (with the help from BOTH of their Tight Ends).  Expect both teams to run quite a bit.

Since I like the Under 47.5 I may just bet that and then tease the team with points (As of right now Seattle +8) to Under 54.5.  Then get a little action on Pats -1 and Under 48 parlayed.

    Analysis as follows..

Seattle played perhaps their worst game of the year 2 weeks ago and were still able to sneak away with the victory over a solid GB bunch.. a bunch that defeated the Pats mind you..

Brady and Co had trouble with Baltimore and that defense isn't anywhere near the caliber of this Seahawks unit. Tom Terrific isn't so when he's getting pressure from the front 4, which WILL happen. They won't be able to run the ball, so will have to rely on him dropping back 40+ times and that plays right into Seattle's hands.
Worried a little about Seattle's mediocre offense against the stout Pats defense, but i think Danger Wilson and Marshawn make enough plays to get it done in battle.

    Seattle - 26
    New England - 20

    Seattle +1
    Under 47.5

Seattle wins. This is by far the worst match-up the pats could have gotten. The pats have an amazing pass d but their rush d on the other hand stinks! Sea will run the ball most of the game and control the clock and keep brady off the field.

I also believe this line is based solely on the previous games result and i believe the pats had the best match-up last week when they faced indy who has no rush game.

    Sea 27 - NE 20

Seattle Wins.  Brady is like manning (old and slow). Defense wins.  Pete carroll beat GB, in overtime., just not to slow his hand. Wake Up , Vegas always wins, all of you are betting on NE. So, you lose and Vegas Wins.

Im reading everyones post to try to get a take on this game, lmao,I have no idea who will win but heres my view,if the stadium is filled with seahawk fans then it may be tough for brady to call plays,I live in vegas and everyone I talk to likes the patriots so if the money keeps going on the but the (but the spread hasent changed much)I will go with the hawks cuz the bookies dont lose often on big spread changes,I think both teams are pretty equal and whatever the ball inflation issue was you cant tell me the pats werent gonna score 14 points in that game.the colts defense has been great the last 3 or 4 weeks up to that game.if you think about the season neither team has been awesome all season, but we know they are both good teams,im gonna put in prop bets, where the odds are big, when pittsburgh won the superbowl and big ben scored the 1st td I had 10 bucks on him at 20-1,I got lucky, ill put 5 on wilson at 12-1, I could see this being a blowout either way so ill bet both teams -14 just in case,it could be low scoring or high scoring but the only good odds are total points for both between 64-70 10-1 and 71-77 15-1, I think eithervof those are possible but anything under 29 points combined the odds are not good.at 25-1 I think 5 or 10 dollars on both teams to get the 1st td by an int or fumble is possible so ill bet that,at 60-1a safety by either team sounds nice but I doubt that will happen,at 12-1 ill put $5 on edelman for the 1st points scored, gronks odds are 11-2, anyhow good luck to all of you,I dont know if this controversy bout the inflation will be a factor, personally I will root for the pats but idk what will lol,

Ok, so I feel like I have developed a sense of the game but first a short trip in history. ... last year's NFC championship game, Seahawks squeaked out a win vs SF then blew out a QB heavy team, my team btw. 2 weeks ago they squeak one out again. Now vs Pats, not so QB heavy, but QB reliant nevertheless.  A closer game than last season but the better  Playoff hardened  team comes out, especially in 4th qtr.  Seahawks 31-23. This one's for Ddevin69. Sorry for the loss.

I bet UNDER 47.5 because Seattle will play control ball to make Brady away from the field. It also Seahawks has very good defense.

Not sure if anyone commented on this or not, but I HOPE you were purposely not wanting to cash your parlay until the SB or else you are one dumb bettor. You get a whopping extra $8 for that stupid NE +42.5 bet that you did. If you did this bet out of greed or stupidity, I almost hope Seattle wins this by 43....just to teach you a lesson. And I wonder which book allows a bet like that? I've never heard of buying 42 points.

Your parents always wanted a girl and got one. You like Brady and his man purse that his jinx wife made him carry.

What is it about Brady worship that makes you cream in your pants? I hoping Brady gets knocked around like a pinata.

NE's defense will slow Seattle but NE's offense is over matched, crossing patterns won't save them. Brady's not running anywhere and from the start he'll be watching that rush. Brady on the sidelines will tell the story.

This will be a blowout and dirt on Brady finally put to rest. Why is NE not favored? Las Vegas has seen this story before and won't take a bath because of Brady hype.

I like the under in this game. I see this game playing out like the two previous NE-NYG Super Bowls. I am also leaning towards Seattle because Brady struggles so much against a defense that pressures him. This is not Indy.... More likely a 24-20 game. 2 units on the under now and probably Seattle as well straight or teased with the under.

Its Super Bowl weekend...just like any business the job of the book is to make money.  We know they play off of public sentiment and for the most part profit from those emotions that the public has for this team or that.  Hence Big Bad Joe's (unsolicited) opinion and suspicion on the Seahawks Patriots concerning the opening line of 2.5 to 3 favoring the Seahawks.  I believe Vegas saw the sentiment on the Pats and pulled one over with a big initial load of money on the Patriots and the points...which in the end will be a big win for them as the Seahawks go out and repeat what they did last year to the Broncos....maybe not in a blowout...but in convincing fashion.  Why do I believe this...Pats needed trick plays to get past the Ravens who weren't that great this year...they had two close games with the Jets who we all know were terrible this year...and they had a tough game against the Raiders another low level team...On a couple of occasions they gave up lots of ground yards.   Seahawks have one of the best defenses in history and they have LYNCH....Wilson has a knack for making plays and is unfairly criticized.  People just don't want to believe that a 3rd round guy who is less than 6' tall can be a great NFL quarterback.  Disclaimer....proceed with caution in the dark and mysterious world of sports gambling....past performance is no guarantee of future success or lack thereof....
