This game basically is a gift.  The Dolphins have been on a nice little run, but they beat the Pats earlier on in the season when Cassel was not at the level he is now.  The wildcat formation had not been seen yet, and the Patriots had no answer for it.  Now, it's been run by just about every team in the NFL, still mostly by the Dolphins.  They will not be able to get away with this again.  It's in Miami, so the weather won't be an issue.  The Patriots are coming off a 10-day break since their Thursday night game vs. the Jets.  They know that they MUST WIN this game because next week they have the Steelers, and that is more than likely going to be a loss.  The Dolphins just dont have the TALENT to beat the Patriots without the gimmicks.  That's what it comes down to here.

I hate this, but money is money. Pats plus the points. Miami has played far better than anyone has expected, but I think they are a year or 2 away to be a serious contender for AFC East top dog. They keep the game close, but Bellicheat and extra prep time will more than make up for injuries. NE in a close one, 24-21.... GL to all

It seems to me miami has been playing teams just good enough to beat them.  If u look at the teams they have beat or lost to other than baltimore and huston ur just guessing what is going to happen divisional game and a chance for a season sweep should be interesting.  I've seen new england -2.5 vegas is suckering u guys in like texas tech and the oaklahoma game

Patriots are going to have to make some sweeping changes to beat them....they will both score....watch the pass rush !!!!

i remember lemon and ronnie brown were leading me to a cover last year until r.brown went out with an injury. then the pats (with brady) pulled away. i think the dolphins successfully move the ball one way or the other. Matt Cassell has already faced this defense, so i expect better results from him this game. kinda leaning miami. my pick is the over.

If I'm to have a big bounce back Sunday I'll need Miami to put together a nice game at home against the Pats.

If the pats offense gets rolling early they should be able to take this one down...its hard to see them losing twice to same team, especially after that ass whooping.  Pats ML plus the points...goodluck all!

The Dolphins just got bye Oakland last week and barely bet the Seahawks the week before...I think we all agree that the PATS have the better D of the teams mentioned.
 
bentladdle mentions the Patriots schedule but who has the Dolphins beat...are you kidding me? The beat Buffalo, Denver, Seattle, Oakland, and New England...Uh, schedules seem very similiar except for the crappy two teams Miami just beat at home. There is a reason why Miami is getting a point and half at home. Its so all the Dolphin backers feel good about taking them at home. Dolphin backers see a close game but they also see a Miami...its kinda like comfort food...

A lot of expert handicappers have New England Patriots to win this game. I highly doubt the experts will get it wrong this week since they messed up last week.

Take NE 2nd half if the line is sweet.
