You would assume that this would be the spot for the skins to pick up their first home win.   Obviously, a lot is riding on the status of RG3.  The skins have proven that they are well coached as they have played every team tough (all their games decided by 1 score or less).  In the games they've lost, they have been absolutely shredded through the air.  Matt Ryan, Bradford, and Dalton have all thrown for over 300 yards against this suspect secondary that seems to be missing Leron Landry.  And their d-line clearly misses the pass rush of orakpo.  They have also made some critical mental mistakes in those games.

The Vikings on the other hand, seem to be a very disciplined team heading in the opposite direction, and I unfortunately learned that by trying to fade them last week.  Good teams win the games they are supposed to win (even if it's against the miserable titans).  They don't make a lot of mistakes (penaltys, turnovers) and they have racked up some impressive wins (Detroit, San Fran).  Ponder is also looking like he has found his comfort zone in the offense.

With all that being said, it just looks too damn easy to take the Vikings.

If you are a futures better you should know this next fact. The total wins for the Vikings was 6, don't you think it's time they start regressing towards the mean?

Without RG3 Washington becomes like Oakland. The replacement threw two picks by the way.

Liking the Vikings here. Except for the situation.

I disagree. Here's my take- Minnesota is an average team, they lost to the colts already this year. Terrible loss. Who did they beat? Detroit is impressive? A team that crappy, looks worse than college, and I would expect Vikings to win that game. I actually had them in my pleaser parlay. That was no surprise. Also the win over SF was not impressive to me...I also expected them to win that game. The spread gave it away. SF basically let them win. The vikings are not impressive....yet. Maybe they will end up being so, but not yet. They have proven absolutely nothing to me. So, I'm going with the home team here, washington desperately due for a much needed home win. What better team than the lowly vikings to get their first win. I also expect RG III to play. This isn't my most solid bet on the board, as redskins are still iffy...but I think they pull this one out...23 to 17 or something like that

I expect the spread to be PK, -1 or somewhere around there, when they finally open up the line on this game.

I see the vikes as a light-version of the 2011 49ers. The Strong defense is obvious. But i like the offense as well with all those smart plays (WR in the backfield, reverse plays etc.). Ponder reminds me on alex smith - not impressive, but he plays solid and avoids mistakes. The vikes are still way under the radar

Yes but the 2011 49ers were just an average team with a deceiving looking record. Same with Minnesota this season. Their competition has been crap. Every game has been handed to them. Only game where their opponent put up a fight? They lost. That was the colts. So, Minnesota still sucks as usual. Don't over think this one, easy pick is for Redskins.

Last minute bet for me. Will take Vikes -2.5 and below if RG3 is not playing.  Skins has worst pass defense and Ponder has been pretty good passer so far.  Why bet on a team when you're iffy on the backup QB while you have solid stats Vikings?

    Vikings -2.5

I'm going with the Vikings on this one. RG3 concerns me... even if he does start, will he make it through the entire game? And it seems like the Vikings are starting to pull things together. The Vikings are +1 1/2 at Delaware Park and I took them in a Teaser.

I found it odd that Shanahan put in that Kirk Cousins guy, given that they still had a chance to beat Atlanta last week - and he comes in and throws 2 picks to lose the game!!! Shows how much faith they have in the experience of "R.G. 3-And-Out" now doesn't it.......

No line yet, but I'll say this - no R.G. III, no way the Skins win. I'd take the Vikings up to like 5 or so - - we'll see

These Redskins have serious issues with their defense.  They couldn't stop a nosebleed.  Vikings are actually looking like they can win the division.  Redskins haven't won at home since Sep. 18, 2011.  Vikings are a few plays from being 5-0 at this point.  RG3 coming off a concussion.  The clear value is with the better team vs. a team that lacks confidence & defense.

    Vikings all day

dude chill out on the number of posts u write up because ive been following your viewpoints and u sound like ur 18 years old - in other words, u sound very ignorant.  i guess u failed to watch the Vikings MANHANDLE the 49ers.  maybe u shouldve laid off the Keystone Ice that day and actually watched each and every play.  then u may have reflected on the game afterwards and learned how improved the Vikings are this year.

You failed to read my post. I didnt have to watch the game. I knew Vikings would win the game. You simply have no idea how this game works. And thank you for the compliment I guess.

And I was dead on with the spread. I said Washington would be PK or -1 and they are. They are favorites for a reason..

And funny how you shoot down all good advice. You work for the books, that's for sure. I actually agree with Hatred4Dallas, they had a good point, unlike you.

Well good luck getting as many suckers on the Vikings as you can..

Oh I forgot to ask you,

Since when does age dictate how ignorant you are? I know a lot of kids who are more enlightened than some people who are your age.
