Can you say HardKnocks!!! I'm a big fan of Miami's..This just seems to simple. Everyone is on Houston. For some reason Miami seems to be the pick here to cover. I think the spread will go up closer to game time. +13, Under 42...

But the other Miami team got beat down yesterday ...Sticking with the Phins...

Whenever I see, and feel, as though everyone, including myself, feels this is a no show type game - where as the home team is going to blowout the road team - I have to reconsider my position.

The original opening line was 6, SIX! This was posted AFTER the Dolphins named a rookie QB the starter. After the Dolphins lost all 4 preseason games and looked bad doing it. After realizing they had no WR's. After releasing Garrard. After Moore looked like a shell of himself.

The line has since been bet UP to 13. Might go higher, up to 14, as the public thinks a 2 TD favorite is in order.

I have no stats, no rationale and no blind faith but I will be taking a flyer on Miami today just because this is what they consider a "bridge jumping" game. Somewhere around the mid 4th quarter people will be losing their shirts and jumping off bridges. It happens every so often in football, horse racing, etc. You're so cock sure that 1/5 horse is going to win that you wheel it with 5 other horses and then he tanks.

Taking Texans -13 and hoping Miami doesn't pull a backdoor cover.

Tannehill's numbers in college were mediocre and now he's facing a top defense. Commentators often talk about his mechanics. Mechanics won't do any good if you're making bad decisions. I expect him to throw a few pics today and I expect the Texans to capitalize.
