Anybody have any insight on why they like the over on this game??? i went 10 and 1 this weekend. Looking to go big on this game.
it's in miami, so it'll be hot and humid and players run out of gas at the end...possible thunder showers also...and it's played on grass, so indy will be a step slow

20-10 so far...everything about this game is fishy....and superstitious...MNF games tend to be high scoring games (2-0 this year) and they tend to be very close with the underdogs covered (2-0 this year)...Do I think the Colts will lose? No but will they beat the Fins who have home field advantage by more than 3 points? Then the O/U line is just skeptical because it's always a high scoring game on MNF but Fins aren't a good offensive team I think. They are one dimensional (Running) while the Colts are somewhat 2-Dimensional but how much of an impact will it be without Andrew Gonzalez. However Hank Baskett is a good pickup for them. What about Bob Sanders out? (As usual). How much of an impact will that be for the Colts' Defense? What sucks so much is that the last time these two teams played each other was way back in 2006. So many of yall are jumping on the Colts but there are just as many who are skeptical of that, that you pick the Fins. Whatever....I'm going with the Over on this...though a lot points to choose Under 42, MNF games seem to be high. And I will pick the Colts on this one as well. I believe Freeney and Mathis combo will dominate the Fin's OLine and take Chad down countless times.
Over 42 Colts -3.5
***Wow I just ran in circles on myself LOL***

Laying off this game pre-kickoff. Can't see any legitimate themes to cap this before kickoff. Maybe a HT wager though.
I guess some could make a story for the humidity and natural grass...etc and its effect on Indy but Miami will need to keep Indy defense on the field for that.

The MNF game is one of the most highly wagered games of the week. Indy is the obv pick (public)
Here are my concerns:
All props to indys pass rushers aside, the fins are probably going to run the ball at least 35 times, unless they find themselves behind by more than 2 touches, in that case they are fkkkd anyway.
Line movement: I am not one to read too much into line movement, but how is it that Indy is such the public play, and the line got hit immediately after it openend in vegas and never went up? Accordign to this site, LVH has indy -3 @ 100 (even money)! Basically they are offereing no juice to get more money on indy without moving the number off of 3...
I need to do more research cuz this one has me spooked...I actually may pass on a MNF game while I am up on the wknd

What I meant to say above is: *They are trying to get more money on indy w/o moving the line down to -2.5, by offering no juice at -3
If I see the number drop to -2.5 I might put a small play on miami, because I know it takes a whole lot of $$ to move that number off of 3. *Although one of houses i go thru will still have 3 for sure, if not 3.5 as they are a dog house

Just took the Colts on a small play. Dolphins play some ugly football and the Colts defense wil capitalize on it tonight. Colt's offense is the only thing that has me worried though. GLTA
COLTS-3 (1.5 units)

The Colts offense is built around the play action, which means they need to establish the run. They couldn't do that last week against a Jax defense not nearly as strong as Miami's.
This isn't the same Colts passing attack. Harrison and Stokley have been replaced by Garcon, Collie and Baskett. Uh, those guys are garbage. The fact that the Colts felt the need to bring in a dude the Eagles just cut speaks to that.
The Dolphins were gashed last week by Tony Gonzalez. Dallas Clark could have a huge game.
The Miami O succeeds by running the ball and not turning the ball over. Last week they couldn't do either. I doubt they'll come close to the four turnovers they had last week.
Finally, again, this line is begging for people to bet the Colts. And they are at a clip above 80 percent. I never want to bet on a team the public is backing that high.
Small play on the Fish.
Few more thoughts:

I don't see the numbers to support a play on the Fish here you can give them a nod on the O line but that's about it.Now 80% of the public on the Colts so it looks like 3 is a short number unless this is indeed a stinko and the Colts get bogged down in the heat and humidity and somehow Miami returns to the play of last year it could happen but I don't see it. Colts -3 and the over looks to be the play. BOL to all.

But serious, MNF home dog?? We saw how "good" Jax is yesterday. I dont think this is the same Colts team as we're used to. The dog in this series is 9-2. As far as the heat, that wears down defenses more than offense. No Sanders for Colts and he's as valuable to them as Polumala is to the Steelers. IMHO, I think the Fish are the play, with a small play on the over. ( I see Peyton rallying for a late score to backdoor the over-27-21.) JMO Gl all

Indy defense is not the same without Sanders and Gonzalez has been a solid go to guy for Manning. Last week you had to have huge hairy cohones to go Buf and Oak against the public. I did not. Now I do. Mia and Ov. The over will hit due to a turnover and or special teams runback. GL to all. Lets go Fins for Big D.
