Houston -3.    Wash blew their wad against dallas.  If u didn't see that game......wash played HORRIBLE.   Mcnabb and Dallas's penalties and mistakes is the only thang that kept Wash in the game.

Arian Foster will torch this D like nobodys business. Houston may have a let down after their upset, but Wash is still a HORRIBLE and incompetent ass organization.  Wash fans know deep down their team is trash and will NEVER win a sb anytime soon.

I'm gonna have to disagree. Game is in washington and the fans are expecting alot from their team after the beating dallas. houston beat the colts? so what... the colts are my team and i know their D did not show up to that game... houston will face one of the better D's and have a hard time scoring.

    Wash +3

I wish we could eliminate the junenile launguage and attitudes here on Covers. Now on to the game. Houston will face a tougher defense this week but they also will face a much less potent offense in DC. Houston is 8-11-1 in thier L-20 games as a Fav pick and 0-2 all-time ATS vs the Skins with games in 02 and 06. Houston is also 8-5 ATS in thier L-13 road games while the Skins are 6-2-1 ATS in thier L-9 games overall. The Skins are 10-8-2 ATS in thier L-20 games as doggies. I like Houston in this game even though they are giving -3 pts here. They should cover that line vs an impotent Washington offense.

    My Guesstimate - Houston-20 Washington-16

Going with Skins here.  Houston will not be able to run the football against the Skins.  I think McNabb will do enough with the receivers to get the job done.  I am thinking 20 to 17 Skins.

Dallas had no line and beat themselves
they got one more at home and luckily can be 2-0
good for us betters to pound the Rams getting 12 at home against them in week 3

Comes down to what team can score. Wash. won't score many points and Tenn will. This game won't be close.

If anyone thinks that was the real Dallas offense on the field last week they are in for a rude awakening.  Missing two key o-line starters is hardly going to get it done in the NFL.  Especially against a strong Washington front.  Both will be back this week and we'll see firsthand the Dallas offense is just as good as the one that finished 2nd in total yards in the NFL last year...if not better when the year progresses.  Good luck to any team trying to get a rhythm on offense minus 2 key o-line starters in their first game.

As for Wash-Hou...tough call.  Wash may not have lit it on fire last week, but Dallas has a very strong defense.  Houston?  Not so sure they can hold them down like that.  And Wash has a good defense as well.  I think the location of this game will be huge.  If in Hou I'd be all over the Texans as they respond well to their crowd.  But in Wash and Texans coming off a HUGE win over a team they never could beat, I'm not so sure they will be nearly as intense.  And I can see Wash staying pumped being at home and fans even more solid behind them after beating Dallas and showing promise.  Seems like too many variables to make a solid pick as both are capable of this win, and had big wins last week.

I gaurantee that Foster isn't going to have another game like he did against the Colts. This is the N.F.L. It will come down to a FG.

Kyle Shannahan used to run the Texans offense last year and now he is in Washington.  Kubiak used to be a coach under Mike Shannahan as well.

    Just some food for thought.

Won't be intense ?  Coach Kubiak is facing his long time mentor Shanahan here, don't forget...I'm sure he'll have his guys motivated.
As far as the X factor match up (shift) from week 1 ?  Skins faced a 'band aid' Dallas O line last week, this time they face a MUCH better Texan line that destroyed the Colts last week.  HOU  ML.
