Gb just took a loss.  I have GB in the NFL's top 5 at # 5.  If Dallas is the best team in the NFL (and we all know they are)  you can excuse GB for collapsing against big D.

The NFL is built on underdogs.  There is no way in H*** I would bet on Tampa to beat Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers.  Aaron Rodgers has the potential to be this generation's Steve Young in terms of replacing a legend.  Even Brett Favre would have had a hard time against Dallas. (wait didn't Dallas beat Brett Favre and Aarron Rodgers in Nov last year?)

Brien Griese is a joke at qb compared to 1st round pick Aaron Rodgers and that prolific Gb offense.

Gb all the way everyday all day.

    and I'm a Dallas fan

this looks like the fishiest line on the board, it seems to easy to like Green Bay.  but still, i like Green Bay ML at Tampa, mainly because GB's loss against Dallas was impressive in my book, almost a moral victory.

Tampa will no doubt have a let-down game after that desperation stunt last week.  also, the fact that Tampa just beat Chicago, who everyone remembers beating Indy soundly in prime time, makes me think Tampa is getting false credit in the eyes of the public.  the only thing that worries me is that Al Harris' spleen bit the dust.

TB at home has always paid me dividends.... I know everyone is on GB...... and Griese isn't good.... but this team has been good for years and when was the last time they had a good quarterback???

TB defense is tough..... Al Harris loss is HUGE..........

With green bay losing under th elights, i will back them in this game and take the point despite the fact that I don't like seeing that many on their side without some line movement

Don't think too much on this game.  Take Green Bay all the way.  Don't worry about the Dallas game.  Dallas is the # 1 team in the league.....hands down.  Dallas makes anyone look silly

I disagree.... this is a cover 2 defense..... they aren't going to be able to establish a run... and Rodgers is going to get picked off......

no way GB comes outta Tampa with a win....

Tampa Bay Coverage is one of the toughest in the league (just ask anyone who has a WR going up against them in fantasy.)

I agree this line looks suspect, but I'm still leaning Green Bay....

This is going to be a big test for Roger....i think this game will decide by who got the ball the last 2 minutes.... GB looks very tempting, and yet the line is kinda fishy...

Interesting stat of the day: Green Bay is 4-1 ats away off a straight up and ats loss. With an even money moneyline the house gets no vigorish, and this automatically becomes a great play to take the Packers. My guess is that the line will be +2 by Sunday and a moneyline of +105 or +110, which suits me just fine, as the original line was Tampa-3 on the LVSC. That line would have been fine with Garcia at the quarterback position, but with Griese, there had to be a point drop, as he is the type to manage and not necessarily win a game. I had this game pegged as a pick em, so any points awarded to Green Bay is wonderful. If the line stays the way it is, i will buy the line up to Green Bay +3

GB should win +1. TB is good, but Griese throws about 70% of all plays. Al harris being out is a GOOD thing, he's terrible. Woodson is all that matters, and Aaron Rouse did okay replacing Bigby as safety last wk. Ryan Grant is near 100%, and even their RB2 Brandon Jackson was solid against Dallas defense.

TB's top receiver Galloway is out with a foot injury, that spells issues for Ike and A. Bryant, exactly, who?

Unfortunately, TB Kicker's son just passed away, which one would think would affect his play.

GB +1 is the play here

I think you have to look at this game in simple terms.
Green Bay:  1.  Aaron Rogers IS playing good football this year and he has developed into a good quarterback that obviosly has the respect of his teammates.  2.  Green Bay IS arguably the 4th best team in the NFL.  3.  Brian Griese is.....well....Brian Griese.  4.  Tampa will not have their kicker, which doesn't seem that important but could have been the difference of a W or an L last weekend. and 5.  Frankly both teams have pretty good D's but Green Bay has a MUCH better Offense, and THAT is what is going to win this game.

Game: Green Bay at Tampa Bay (Sunday 9/28 1:00 PM Eastern)
    Pick: Green Bay +1 (-110)

Green Bay is a dog here? What?!? How soon people forget the Packers are 19-4 SU in their last 23 regular season games, and 19-0 SU vs teams not named Dallas or Chicago! I say this because at the beginning of the season most thought without Favre the Packers were headed south. That certainly has not been the case as Aaron Rodgers has simply shined. To this point of the season (yes, it's still early), he has been an upgrade at QB with a 102.9 rating and no INTs. To me, this guy looks to be for real. I say that not just based on the numbers. Watch him play, he works through his progressions like a vet, utilizing many different weapons, making it very difficult on opposing defenses. The emergence of Greg Jennings at wideout gives the Packers top recievers on both sides of the field. The Bucs defense is much softer than it has been in many years, and the only legit QB they have seen this season was Drew Brees who lit them up for 343 yards and three TDs. Brian Greise was run out of Chicago (and Denver before that) for a reason. He makes too many mistakes. He did it last week, throwing two INTs that almost cost the Bucs the game. Against a better opponent like Green Bay, it will. Don't be fooled - Brian Griese is not a savior, nor a long-term starting QB in this league. The difference between these teams is that Green Bay and Rodgers take care of the ball and in a close game, mistakes are deadly. Greise has shown a penchant for delivering those mistakes time and time again. I'll go with the Packers and Rodgers, over Griese. The Pack are still surprisingly under the radar despite winning 19 straight vs all but two teams and posting a 13-4 ATS mark on the road under their current coach. We get exceptional value on them thanks to their loss to a superb Dallas team last week. Wrong team favored in this one.

GB just has to hang around in striking distance to win the game late or make it close. Think their D should be able to keep a cap on a Griese led TB offense. TB covers if they get turnovers for points but I'll take my chances. A GB lean.

Statistically this is a good match up. But I beleive Green bay has a big advantage a QB. Greise has thrown 3 TD' & 3 Int's. Rodgers has thrown 4 Td's & NO Int's.

I certainly am not a big Aaron Rodgers fan. He had some very solid Cal teams and could never win a big game. GB isn't even the 4th best team in the NFC much less the NFL. Tampa will win a low scoring game with D and home cooking.
