This game won't be so easy, like the games yesterday, and it's pretty hard to tell who will come out as the winner.

Now thinking about it for days, it would be better to say that the Cowboys will win this one, but there are certain things and facts, that makes me say clearly: MINNESOTA-2,5

I still have doubts about Romo. He's gonna throw picks in this one. It's not gonna be easy, but somehow Minnesota will pull this one out.

And one more thing. It's not gonna be under! Score should be like: 31 - 24 Minnesota

vue...you've been exposed as a fraud about 2 games ago when Dallas played philly in the season finale. I remember something about betting ur repuation as a capper that there is no way in hell that Philly could lose. then u sharted a horrible pick ala deja vu by picking Philly again...the next week. Big D are you fading the public here or do you really think Favre can bring the Vikings to the promise land.  Like i said in my previous post he looked totally out of sync in la la land in that Chicago game against a pumped up Chicago defence now he faces a defence three times quicker and more pumped than Chicago's.  Just wondering.

Line opened at Minny -3, a most non-committal line if I ever saw one.  Bet down to 2' and has held steady all week.  Total has come down which is just from number crunchers.  A month ago there would have been no doubt in anyone's mind who would win this matchup, if this match even happened.  Now, a hot Dallas team comes in against a team that struggled down the stretch.  Always go with the hot hand.

How bout dem SAINTS, they played like they did in the early part of the season !!  Boys been HOT, but a good defense will confuse and shut Romo down.  The question for me, is Minny that good of a defense, I think they will step it up here like the SAINTS did last night !  I'm chalking the points here, and leaning toward the UNDER ........ Already made my money line bets on Thursday on NO, indy, Dallas and the Chargers.  I always check out BIG D's picks and just wanted to know his reason.  I really think this Dallas Minny game will be a repeat of the NO - Cards game yesterday. Maybe by not as many pts but Dallas will be in control the whole game.

Dallas +2.5, Under 45.5

Dallas ML and the over. These offenses are going to score alot of points. Total moving down in Vegas cause public money coming in on the under. Look, Vikings average almost 30 pts a game and Cowboys average 23. I believe this is an evenly matched offensive game. Favre has too much ego to go down losing without a fight. Roma and company are better right now. Forget who has anything to prove. When the banging starts, forget about it!  I want to see Favre knocked on his ass and lose it on the sidelines

Too much trash talking back and forth at each other, some really should be given 30 days off to think about it.

I'd just like to preface what I'm about to say with the admission that I'm an Eagles fan, and it pains me greatly, however, I can't ignore my instincts in this case:

Dallas is going to win this game.

What I keep coming back to is this idea of team unity and struggles through adversity and this Cowboys team, over the past few playoff seasons, has done that.

Irish, I hear what your saying re. the gushing, however, I feel like along with the gushing there's an enormous amount of relief that comes with knowing the pressure is off and I think they'll play carefree football today in the most hostile of environments in which suddenly, ALL the pressure is on Minnesota, and Brett Farve since this could be it?

And speaking of Brett, he's worried.  Because he sees that Dallas is getting pressure by just rushing 4, allowing them to put everyone else back in coverage.  And much has been written about Bryant McKinney's recent struggles against faster end rushers.  Dallas has 'em on both sides of the ball by the way, as well as depth in the secondary.

Also, say what you want about "the Cherub" Wade Phillips, but the guy schemes well v. Brett, having big wins in two playoff games against him as a D. coordinator.  And on the other side, I'm sorry but there have been times when I've seen Brad Childress coach in the same scared way that Andy Reid does, but maybe that's just bitterness talking.  Either way, I like the experience of the Dallas coaching staff in this one.

The Dallas defense has given up 2 touchdowns and 31 points in it's last 12 quarters of football, 8 of which were against the Philly offense and the Saints offense (in their own dome).  Say what you want about Philly - the bottom line is slowing down Donovan McNabb, DeShaun Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, hell even Brent Celek - is not an easy thing to do.  They didn't just slow them down, they SHUT them down.  And they shut down the Saints.  The Saints.  In that dome.

Something happened for Dallas after they lost that San Diego game and it unified them.  It all just seems to be coming together for them at the right time.  And Romo, for once, has a TON of weapons around him, the ability to have a truly balanced attack on offense, and a defense to give him ample opportunities.

And for once, he seems to have maturity on his side (and NO crazy girlfriend watching him from the freekin' stands!).

Farve is the X-factor here.  He is the kind of guy who can change a game.  And they need him because Peterson hasn't rushed for a hundy in what, 8 or 9 games now?  Think about that.  That means, for whatever reason, he hasn't broken off a big run in more than half a season at this point.

Yeah, I hate it, but my money's on Dallas today.
And I'll go ahead and take the money line.
