Early lean on the Bears. They are ranked 11th in Passing yds while SF is ranked 24th, allowing 241 yds per game. I think Jay Cutler will put up some better numbers in this game. As for the 49ers they are ranked 22nd and 21st in passing yds and rushing yds and the bears are ranked 12th and 21st... i know numbers doesnt mean anything.. but hopefully it does here =P

The 49ers host the Chicago Bears in what will be the 62nd meeting between the two teams, dating back to 1950. The last time San Francisco played the Bears at home was in 2003, when they defeated Chicago, 49-7, at Candlestick Park. The 49ers have a 6-1-1 record when playing on Thursdays, having last defeated the Seahawks, 24-14, at Seattle (12/14/06).

So long as Alex "Ass-hat" Smith can keep from throwing INT's, SF should do well.  Singletary will have his soldiers ready for war.  I agree w/ the thought that the Niners' 'D' has the Bears' 'D' completely out-classed.

As long as Gore has the ball more often than Smith, I think the 49ers are good for at least a push at -3. Frank the Tank ought to roll over this defense's weak line.

It's going to be a very defensive, low scoring, last second field goal type of game.....

I'm starting to think SF.  But I don't know about you guys but with this matchup and the 1st TNF of the year, I know I sure won't be playing much on it.

Bears will easily win this game no problem  take the bears and the over  28-21

Shaun Hill to Michael Crabtree for 2 TDs.  Shaun Hill to Vernon Davis for a TD.  Frank Gore for 150+ yards and a TD.  Needless to say, I think Mike Singletary is going to be out to prove a point in the Thursday night matchup.  Hopefully the 49ers D will step up this week.

49ers roll...cant trust cutler with the way he turns over the ball, plus chicagos pass defense is horrible....actually their overall defense is horrible and forte seems to have hit a wall.  He aint running mad, hes running weak.  Wont have to worry about Smith turning over the ball because chicago has nobody to create that turnover.  Plus with a healthy Gore, Singleterry has him running a lot early followed up by a few vernon davis touchdowns.  Hey Crabtree shows us why he held out in this one.
