See a half hearted effort coming from the Ravens after blowing another winnable game to Pittsburg! This IS NOT the same Baltimore team from a year ago.

    HOUSTON  + 3

Ravens -3. Look for Flacco to bounce back and the Ravens D to make some plays.

Booky Buster, don't overthink this game.   Ravens is the right side.

Houston's Defense is a major liablitly.   DeMeco Ryans IR early in the season doomed this already vanilla defense.

Baltimore Ravens has losses only to playoff contenders, NE patriots, ATL Falcons, and Pitt but they should have won that game if it wasn't for a dumb decision to pass late in the 4th quarter. That still makes me sick. Houston on the other hand has just been unreliable due to their IR list. I thought they would be in the playoffs in the beginning of the season but not a chance.

Ravens win big in this game.

Baltimore. Houston is a second tier AFC team. Baltimore is playoff bound. Ravens by a TD.

    Baltimore - 24                                    Houston - 19

    Ravens -3                                    under 46

Important game for the Ravens, I expect them to come out of the Lonestar state with a "W". Wildcard and Divison Champs still within Ravens reach. A loss here would be devastating.

    Ravens - Under

    Baltimore - 24                                    Houston - 19

    Ravens -3                                    under 46

Important game for the Ravens, I expect them to come out of the Lonestar state with a "W". Wildcard and Divison Champs still within Ravens reach. A loss here would be devastating.

    Ravens - Under

Home dogs are getting crushed on MNF regularly.  Will the dogs bite back from here on out?

I don't know.  I am leaning towards the HOME DOG +3 once again, hell I've lost my ass backing Jax +3.5 v. Tenn, Wash +3.5 v. Eagles, and Arizona +2 v. San Fran...

I'm sure there's a few I've left out... but my point is: Can this trend hold up? Wouldn't the books at some point set it up so a dog wins out-right?

The public has been winning week in and week out on MNF favs... I think this trend will end... but I've lost so far chasing the home dogs.

    Fuck it.  Houston wins outright.

    Play : Houston +3.

Why is everybody overthinking this. The Texans can score points, however so can the Ravens and the texans are all banged up right now. The Ravens will beat the Texans rookie safety'e and corners easily. The Texans have a running game but the Ravens have a run defense so this game will be won by the veterans...and the only real veterans are on the Ravens. They will win and cover. The only reason the game could go under is the laxadasical play calling and style of the Ravens, however , if the Texans get close Flacco will open up on Monday Night. I see a battle of the QB's in this one with the Ravens pouring it on the Texans secondary thus leading to more points. Look for at least 4 td's in the 1st half and 3 in the second.

    Ravens -35 ... Texans -21

    RAVENS -3 / OVER

It's a gambling forum; everyone is entitled to their opinion.  My opinion is that the underdog will win one on MNF tonight; a home dog at that.

Quit yer bitchin'.  Handicap the game, and share what you think if you want, and make your bets based off of your own information.

Sharps vs. Squares? Who cares about that though I will say that I do take line movements into account : I've won money and lost money because of it.

Houston +3 for me.  Baltimore is questionable on the road and Arian Foster goes off tonight.

Good post.  And I do think the OVER is a good play as well.

Texans are 8-3 ATS last 11 games as a home underdog.  I'll roll with those ODDS.

uhm how can you back a team with a defense as bad as the texans? doesn't make sense...  and i'm glad you think Arian will go off against the Ravens D. That's funny. Do you think they will stick to running when down majority of the game? BOL- but it is BALT for me.

Easily.  Houston has a better offense + home field adv. + they're catching points.

No way in hell the Lions should've beaten GREEN BAY yesterday, but it happened.  This is the NFL; barring monday night games, home dogs of +3 in the NFL are $$.

The fact that I'm the only person taking Houston in this thread is fine too; I was the only person who took the Titans +4 vs the Colts LW out of 18 placed bets through my bookie.

I just like home underdogs, and it has cost me money this year, but over the YEARS it has been

Anyone notice the total @ 46,,,,,,, kinda high dont ya think? Do ya think its an indication of Houston being able to score tonite? Look @ the Ravens/Pats game earlier in the year with the GREAT BRADY in Foxboro,,,,,,, that total was LOWER! Anybody see all them red FLAGS being waved?

This total and line is off. If you ask me Hou should be favored. Look at Balt cupcake schedule vs Houston's. With the exception of Dallas, Hous has lost to all teams in the playoff hunt. Balt has beaten up on bad teams but either lost or struggled with competent teams. Hou has lost to all competitve teams and is 3 crazy plays or so from being on the other side where Balt is at. Either way the line will be 3.5 by gametime and buy the 1/2 pt if not but I dont think youll need it. And oh yea if Hous wins they will have to score. Trust me im a doctor.. HOU and OV for the large!

I think the line is right.

It seems simple to me, which scares me a bit:

Bal has only lost to super bowl contenders

Houston has only beaten fringe playoff teams and below

    Houstons wins:

Colts: might miss the playoffs and are not the same Colts

    Washington:  Not a playoff team

    Oakland: Not a playoff team

KC: TBD if they make the playoffs

    Tennessee: Not a playoff team

Houston has to run the ball to have a chance.  I'll take Ray Ray and the Ravens D over Arian Foster and company.
