I think everyone forgets that Atlanta did beat Philly and knocked M. Vick out of the game! I wouldn't doubt it if we hit him again and he'll probably fold and head to the sidelines for the rest of the season!

However, in any case I know my falcons with covering big and small lines. It's always tough to play against a team that needs a win, bad. Especially, when you're the only defeated team in the NFL! That huge red target is on Atlanta's back for having a perfect record of 6-0. On the other hand, I honestly, want us to lose a few games this season so the pressure is not on Matty Ice trying to be perfect!!!!

Atlanta can come out with the "W". As for covering its going to be very close, down to the wire ending.

Believe me I don't bet with my heart at all! That's why when the raiders played my falcons I told everyone that Atlanta always has trouble covering big spreads and to play the raiders and take the points! So as a #1 fan of the hottest team in the NFL I know what's the best play business wise! So please get your facts straight before you say anything!!!!

initially i was kind of eyeing out this spot all week. Planning on taking the eagles as what i thought was an unpopular favorite. But after reading some I am either making this a no play or playing atlanta spread now.

I think I have now heard 100 people in the last couple days mention andy reids record after the bye. I am not saying this is not important but it really is looking like this could be the time that streak ends. Now that everyone is running around saying andy reid 13-0 bank on it.

If you want to look at it in a different light Reid is only 1-1 ATS after the bye with Vick as QB. And lets face it Vick has singlehandedly cost Philly some games at this point.

Both teams come off a bye and yes although Atlanta could have lost some games they won by now thats how it is in football. Even in an undefeated season you still have to get lucky to win some of them.

And you also have the typical red flags "I am a diehard Philly fan, have been all my life, I usually never say anything but no way Philly loses this game..etc" people coming out too.

Could totally see Atlanta winning this straight up or even more painful for everyone Philly winning by 1 or 2 where Philly backers and the Atlanta moneyline players both lose.

Regarding Coach Reid's undefeated after-bye-wee victory streak. Has anyone researched the teams the Eagles beat? Maybe they were expected victories over doormats...

The eagles are weak in many areas this year...like a leaking row boat with many holes to plug or the ship will sink.

Sure, the oddsmakers are more skilled than most of us reading this board, but maybe too much is being made of the past records.....

The Eagles' strength for today's game appears to be the running game....but the Eagles' defense is new and not aligned as a team.

Jimmy Johnson, former Eagles defensive coordinator made the team very successful over the years. He's gone, and it's time to realize Eagles are not the same Eagles.. The Eagles ARE NOT WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.

They are also thinking about getting out of Philly before the storm cancels flights,I mean would you wanna be stuck there? Just kidding,some of the best times i had were in Philly hotels and the Spectrum.
