What will you give up this year? Trump is calling for austerity

While Donald J Trump bills taxpayers $100 million/yr to golf and plans to build a gold ball room using taxpayer money in the White House, he has admitted that his tariffs will cause some shelves to go empty and for Americans to buy less electronics, buy their children fewer toys, and to go with less groceries. 

The tariffs are already going to cost the average American family thousands every year, but don’t worry, Trump admits that higher prices and supply chain shortages should exacerbate that. In response, he and his lackeys have suggested that Americans should go with less in 2025, and not buy so many things. 

So what are you giving up this year?

Using Trump’s dolls example, I guess he thinks that every child gets 30 dolls for Christmas. Lil Donny must have played with a whole lotta dolls growing up! 

But to take his example seriously, using his numbers, he is suggesting that families buy their kids 90-94% less toys for Christmas. (2 divided by 30 is 6.7% after all.) 

So what will you do without in 2025 while the orange emperor bills us as he tweets upon his gilded potty? It’s your duty as an American to help pay up! Those ballroom curtains and Trump-branded ProV1s ain’t gonna pay for themselves!

This project President Trump is seeking to build a "world-class" ballroom inside of the White House will be self-funded by President Trump ..this has been a long time desired project by Our President ....

In fact ,,Obama White House officials confirmed in 2016 that Trump had offered to build a $100 million ballroom in the building, but said they did not seriously consider the proposal.....

 So far Boy Blunder has spent over 26 million of taxpayer money on his golf trips this year & certainly will pass the 100 million mark as you stated. People don't realize the 200,000 cost of AF1 per hour adds up quickly. Not to mention the cost to local counties that provide security during his stay.

Our President earns a substantial annual salary of $400,000.

President Trump will forgo his presidential salary for his upcoming term, echoing a decision he made during his first term in office....Giving up his pay check while in office =1.6 million dollars in 4 years ....

Get 100+ million in benefits, give back 400k from the kindness of your heart, we are lucky to have such a benevolent King as our ruler.

It’s funny how none of the Trump fanboys want to acknowledge that Trump is calling for all Americans to spend less. Our kids don’t deserve as many presents for Christmas this year, per Donnie himself.

 Tough to control the lunacy when you have a petulant child running the country.  No president in history has felt it necessary to broadcast not taking a salary but then again no president in history has been a shameless huckster pimping his every whim to suck money out of his foolish followers pockets either.

Trump is a picker compared to Obama...Obama played 333 rounds of golf in his years as presidency, which averages out to about 41 rounds per year. . Trump, on the other hand, has been at a golf club once every 4. 92 days so far, with 285 daytime visits to golf clubs since he became president.

So, it is clear Obama has wasted more 10's of millions playing golf while President...... than President Trump.. 

CNN: Obama’s played more than 1,000 hours of golf as president...

In first term, CNN fact check found Trump  spend more time playing golf than Obama.  Obama played golf once every 9 days while Trump visited golf club every 5 days. Also his frequent trips to Mar-a-Lago  require more air travel than Obama vacations to Hawaii.
