    The BBB took away $500 million from the abortion industry inside America called Planned Parenthood. This means they will not be able purchase new suction machines for their D&C's! D&C stands for dilation and curretage.

    @sundance

     You guys better start supporting the foster/adoption industry and give a good Christian home to all these kids that the mother cannot raise or does not want to raise. The easy part is taking away rights and freedoms as a MALE towards a FEMALE, the hard part is actually raising a child to support your ultra conservative agenda.

    The foster/adoption system is a trainwreck so now these kids will be placed in homes where often people take in multiple fosters to make money and few get adopted then they have no family and are tossed into the ward of the state system to fend for themselves.

    Nothing positive about this situation and you will never stop the abortion practice you just put the mother at risk and flood the system with all the unwanted births.

    Crusher,

    I mentioned the "no tax" on tips in another thread & pointed out that's only up to 25k. Some people make 2k in a night at the Hard Rock down here.

    As far as Hakeem, I agree with you. That was the same bullshit Booker pulled.

    Be safe..

    @Crusher13

     Read the fine print on the no tax for tips, the phase out is pretty low most servers make more than this and will end up paying taxes anyway. I was a server in college and the min wage was not enough to cover SS and FED taxes, this gift is not going to save all that much when you consider that 20k phaseout means how much in federal? 3k? Ok so who is going to cover that 3k, I guess I am unaware that this belching bill is being paid for by some unknown source since the government is now going to run a massive larger deficit/debt because of this and the much worse military calves being sacrificed to the GOP electorate.

    @unplucked_gem

     The menu consists of two selections and only two.

    The first is a military pork shoulder with all the trimmings, the second is a taco bell quality pork taco which is light on all the condiments and is a budget rate fare.

    I will take the taco bell selection myself..I feel like a schlub porking out to billion dollar defense contractors and would rather spend my debt to serve the lower class having come from that in my younger years.

    Most all work places require tips to be reported and often are split evenly between employees. 25 grand sounds about right. Those getting $2000 a night should be paying taxes, IMO.

    The $12,500 limit for OT seems low, that should be closer to 20 grand.

    But I do laugh everytime I hear "it costs this much over a decade". Why not a hundred years. an_roll_laugh

    Nonpartisan congress budget office reports that Trump big ugly bill will make the poorest Americans poorer while benefiting the rich.  The top 10% of income earners will see an average increase of $13,600 per year over the next decade.  Whereas the bottom 10% will see an average decrease of $1200.  US has the worst income inequality in the world and Trump administration aims to worsen it.

     US has the worst income inequality in the world and Trump administration aims to worsen it.

    this is why AI is so out of touch with actual human beings.  this comparison is if all citizens of all countries on this planet are and were created equal.

    why should Mark Cuban share his wealth with any non family member?

    why should Nancy Pelosi share her wealth with anyone?

    crap like this is just that...crap!

    how about the US has the laziest sons of bitches on this planet because the political environment gives them incentives to live that way

    It's not rich people's fault if you were born poor, most rich people these days were born poor.  what's that tell ya?  they work the ass off to not have their kids grow up poor

    life is not fair, that's not written anywhere.  You make your own life, you make your own history

    want more data from a human?  OK.

     countries with the highest income inequality are countries in Latin America and Africa. Advanced economies, on the other hand, display lower income inequality. confused

    explain?  OK.

    When we analyze countries within each group separately, interesting patterns emerge. For instance, income inequality in the U.S. is large, despite the U.S. having one of the highest levels of income per capita in our sample. Specifically, the Gini coefficient of the U.S. was 40.46 in 2010, very close to the average Gini coefficient of African countries in our sample.

    In contrast, Nordic countries in Europe—such as Finland and Sweden—have a similar income per capita as that in the U.S., but much lower Gini coefficients.

    That is not what creates inequality - that is the fact that if you are poor you don’t have money sending your kids to college etc. and you have to slave your life away working at McDonalds just to pay your bills - so they have every card stacked against them breaking the hamster wheel - where those with the most money can play the system to the point where they more or less don’t have to contribute to the society or pay taxes at all
