    an_speak   When trump stated that he will demand a 20% cargo fee as "Guardians of the Strait" [akin to protection racketeering, popular among other Crime Bosses] der Führer of the MAGA REICH has inadvertently signaled *CLEARLY* that it is OK/acceptable for the one who defacto controls the strait to charge fees for passage (tolls) surprised

    The US won't be there indefinitely . . . . . . . . . but Iran will.

    Economists and most Americans see immigration as positive overall for US economy.  Immigrants contribute as workers, consumers, tax payers and entrepreneurs.  Mass deportation is expected to reduce US economic growth in the future.

    @fubah2

    First of all it is acceptable & legal under International Law! 2nd Turkey does it, & you should find others doing it.

    The USA & West wants Freedom Of Navigation in the Waters of other countries territories, the West wants to Rule the World using Free Trade & Financial Engineering!

    Iran controlling the SOH will cause a chain reaction! Countries World Wide will begin to exercise their Sovereign Rights after buying Chinese &/or Russian Weapons, begin Charging tolls & use those tolls to clean up pollution & finance Infrastructure. Countries will switched to “Balanced Trade” & dump the “Free Trade Enslavement Scam”

    Under international law, illegal for countries to charge toll on natural waterway.  However tolls may be charged on artificial canals.  For examples, Panama, Suez and Istanbul canals.  Also countries may charge for services such as navigational aid.

    @thirdperson

    12 miles off the coast of Iran is not an International Water way! 12 miles off the coast of Any Nation is that Nations Sovereign territory.

    The Strait of Hormuz is about 24 miles wide! 12 Miles on the Oman side is Oman’s Sovereign Territory. 12 miles on Iran side is Iran’s.

    Furthermore a Nation can do whatever the Hell it wants if nobody can stop them! USA is a great example of that & Vietnam, Iran, & Korean Wars are great examples of countries who stopped USA Colonizing.

         Der korrupte Führer of the MAGA REICH
    to give primetime address tonight on elections
           after many years of HIS false claims

    •  the Asshole-in-the-Oval [a proven sex-offender and convicted felon] is expected to use a primetime speech tonight to address foreign efforts to influence US elections >>>> the latest in what election observers have warned is actually a campaign to sow mistrust in election results and also try to undercut his embarrassing 2020 loss to Biden.
    He may discuss Iran and the economy, though his usual LIES, fabrications and misleading embellishments are expected as well.

    • Trump for years has spread falsehoods about the the 2020 election, and this address sets up another high-profile opportunity from him to make unsubstantiated claims about the results.

    Here's a follow-up:

    UNCLOS and Toll Charges in Territorial Waters

    Under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), a coastal state’s territorial sea extends up to 12 nautical miles from its baseline and is considered part of its sovereign territory Naciones Unidas.

    Innocent passage is the right of foreign ships to pass through the territorial sea without the consent of the coastal state, provided the passage is not prejudicial to the peace, good order, or security of that state Wikipedia. This right applies to the entire territorial sea, including the 12-mile zone.

    an_lightHowever, UNCLOS does not allow a coastal state [ie, Iran, and certainly not USA in the Strait of Hormuz] to impose tolls or fees simply for allowing ships to pass through its territorial waters.fingershake The purpose of innocent passage is to ensure that international navigation remains open and free from arbitrary restrictions or financial barriers. [Gulf News]

    However, that said, the criminal boss of the trump Crime Family was/is willing to do so as alleged "Guardians of the Strait" - defying maritime rules/law under UNCLOS - thereby suggesting, because of US precedent, IRAN is free to announce the same edict of fees that trump did!

    This was never a thought before trump started a war with IRAN . . .

    @fubah2

     Service Fees: Some countries charge commercial ships administrative or safety transit fees, even for natural waterways. For instance, Turkey collects specific service and safety fees for vessels passing through the Bosporus and Dardanelles straits. [1, 2]

    You, Trump, & the Media claim Iran wants to charge tolls! Iran has said a million times they are charging environmental fees! However Iran plans to charge fees to clean up pollution in the SOH & entire Persian Gulf! Iran will win any lawsuits challenging their desire to clean up pollution, because there’s a lot of pollution.

    The point being Iran is exercising its Power which the World claims Iran doesn’t have. Furthermore the World cannot use the SOH to bring Military assets into the Persian Gulf that would be used to attack Iran. Iran has the Military Power & the Rule of International Law to enforce their will in the SOH.

    Specifically Oil & Gas Tankers, Cargo Ships, & Military Ships = Iran absolutely can legally control them.

    Stop using Sailing vessels & yachts to prove your points! Rats, sewage dumping, garbage, any foreign matter to the Persian Gulf including bugs & bacteria can trigger Iranian Enforcement!

    @fubah2  "voting fraud"

    Election experts say declassified files reveal nothing new to support Trump lies about stolen elections.  Even if ineligible people are incorrectly registered in voters data, that does not mean they are actually voting because all states enforce laws banning illegal voting.  Historically, all investigations found that voting fraud is very rare.  However Trump administration exaggerates voting fraud to sow doubt in elections so that they can challenge results if republicans lose.  Since 2020, they lost 60 lawsuits.

    Not True! Go to the website or wait for the trials, your choice. The Evidence on the WH Website confirms our suspicions & what we know, it’s a prelude for what’s to come. FBI covered up the evidence they gathered put it in burn bags but forgot to destroy it. Retard FBI Director Kash Patel found the burn bags at FBI HQ, he even found a burn bag full of evidence in the closet right next to the FBI Director’s office. Former FBI Director Chris Wray has a lot of explaining to do.

    Clearly you’re not informed & too lazy or afraid to see the Truth. Trump sat on the evidence thinking it will swing him the Mid Term elections! It won’t! Americans care about the Economy, illegal immigrants, & going to war. The Republicans & Mexicans are the ones who join the military, last thing they want is to die in the Middle East. Parents & families of soldiers are going to vote against the Republicans in the Mid terms = SC is going to be tight, NC is turning blue, Ohio Blue, Iowa toss up, Alaska Blue, Michigan will stay blue, Maine Blue. Nebraska, Texas, & Florida could swing Blue.

    Americans are too stupid to understand how serious election cheating is, they think our country will rise above it, we won’t. The Republicans & Democrats at the end of the day are the SAME. The Elites don’t care about Abortion or Gay rights what they want to do is destroy the Constitution so they can Enslave you & much much worse.

    Leon Trotsky rival to Vladimir Lenin a Communist was kicked out of the Soviet Union because he & his followers were absolutely nuts. Irving Krystol & other founders of the NeoConservative Party in the USA were followers of Leon Trotsky. Senator Diane Feinstein’s Grand Parents were Polish Trotsky Communist! Sergei Brin founder Google = Communist! CIA Director John Brennan everybody knows is a Communist, John Bolton former National Security Director is a Trotskyist. Both Marco Rubio & Fox News Star Sean Hannity slam Communism all the time while supporting Trotskyist.

    Karl Marx was a British agent! The Britt’s created Marx & Hitler to be controlled opposition to destroy Russia for saving USA in our civil war, to destroy Russia to steal Russia’s resources! Skull & Bones at Harvard = Bones of Jesus Christ funded Hitler, Prescott Bush’s Bank Union Bank got busted for funding Hitler. Early 1900s American Corporations funded USSR USA transfer a crap load of Technology to USSR. Early 1900s the Global HQ for Communism was New York City not Russia.

    England never stopped undermining USA!
