Sleezy question they asked, what is the purpose of asking a loaded baited question given the backdrop with Israel and this war? Classless trashy move by that other candidate who had no shot of winning.

It looks like the GOP dude is wearing his Trump halloween costume a day late.

moderate sized bets on the gawdawful, corrupt/pro-fascism/largely-racist party (with Vance breaking ties) to keep very narrow Senate control.

an_police For America's sake, I actually hope I lose this Senate bet!  But by trading in my optimism for realism I reluctantly conclude the undeserving, pro-trumpism party will find a way to cling to Senate control >>>> akin to an unearned run in the bottom of the 9th of a tie game.

As long as Dems win the HOUSE as widely expected, I'll come out well ahead (nice profit! an_2drinks) even if I lose my bets for the BADGUYS to keep control of the Senate.

an_refAs an aside though, regardless who wins the Senate, we will still have gridlock for the next 2 years, guaranteed. No meaningful NEW legislation will get passed AND SIGNED BY the fascist-asshole "Don Dementia"

Further, even IF the Dems narrowly win the Senate, they won't truly have control of that chamber >>> BECAUSE there will **always** be some "Joe Manchin-type" ASSHOLE who will oppose his own Dem party (and constituents) and phuckitallup on any measure before the Senate.  (Fetterman comes to mind)

    ALWAYS!

To "idiot proof" a Senate win, Dems flipping a 4 seat minimum will NOT be good enough.fingershake  They would need AT LEAST a pickup of 5 and probably 6.

University of Virginia's professor of politics Larry Sabato with his "Sabados Crystal" has predicted Dems 53, GOP 47 after this midterms. Sabdos Crystal is well known nonpartisan online political newsletter and forecasting website. If Sabato's prediction is correct, Dems will have 52 (exclude Fetterman) vs GOP 47. I don't know that will materialize, but we shall see in a few days.

Good luck to your bets, Fubah! clover

Good luck to your bets, Fubah! clover

I hope the DEMS boot his sorry butt to the curb next year, the guy is a wacky bizarre goof who blatantly does not support or forward the party he falsely belongs to.

    @wallstreetcappers

100% AGREED! peace_5  Fetterman could single-handedly ruin what the electorate wants.  He's a bonfide asshole, almost worse than trump!  Can't EVER count on his vote, so this is why the DEMS need to pickup at least 5 Senate seats --- which unfortunately, I firmly believe they will NOT achieve.

Personally, I am upset with those DEMS who are suggesting the HOUSE not focus on impeaching people and multiple investigations.  Those idiots are suggesting they focus on helpful legislation for America!  WTF??? an_brick  Have they been off-planet for the past several years?!?!? The asshole in the Oval *WILL* veto any and all legislation.  GUARANTEED gridlock!  As a gambler this is as close to a "LOCK" as anything I've ever witnessed.  It would be a waste of time to work on issues which we KNOW trump WILL NOT SIGN.  Time much better spent on investigations and impeaching the jerks in his orbit/cabinet who are in position to continue harming America over the next 2 years.  And the quicker the better.

Polls underestimated extraordinary blue wave.  Especially democrats winning in republican strongholds.  Voters delivered historic rebuke of unpopular Trump and GOP.  Although midterm elections are usually referendums on presidents, delusional Trump blames media and bad candidates instead of his bad policies for losses.  For examples, corruption, tariffs and Iran war.

I knew they would retake the House by a sizable majority which is why I bet so heavily at -1400 odds.

But I really thought the MAGA-roaches would somehow, someway still cling to the Senate.

Disgust for trumpism and the republicans FAILED policies ran even deeper than I thought.
