You do realise that you have used the past 80 years trying to control the world ? (For instance by telling your allies who and what they could trade - and going to war to protect your economic interests) - what China does might seem bad to you - for an outsider they are just repaying the favour
And sorry to say this bluntly I would rather support the nation with a billion + population that care about the world with green renewable energy etc to rule the world - rather than 350 million - self centered wannabe cowboys that only care for themselves - those could go extinct for all I care
