    [Der Führer of the MAGA Reich] is promising America to slash drug prices by 1,500%

    Mind you he has imposed a huge tariff on cheap Canadian pharmaceuticals so we can forget that as a source to help lower our drug costs. angry

    Even more fascinating is that the overwhelming majority of MAGAs actually believe it.

    the world waits to see what will arise from the putin vs felon summit on friday

    will the jerk us president do the wrong thing and basically give in to the aggressor's demands ?

    he did last time!!   remember helsinki 2018 summit ?

    then we watched in disbelief as the ego baby got all the ego stroking he wanted from vlady who is the former kgb officer who has made no secret he wants the resurrection of the former soviet union empire  where ukraine is a good place to start

    so on  TV we watched rump stroll over to vlad ,

    dropped his USA skirt and panties ,

    bent over presenting his USA backside to vlad ,

    and handed vlad a bottle of lube

    All this is about you and China - Trump couldn’t care less what happens with Europe and Russia - neither could the majority of the American population

    Putin will probably end up getting Alaska and free reign over here - and you will get Russia siding with you in the China conflict and opening their markets up for your industries and selling you rare earth materials that they either steal from us or they get from their own underground (but what Trump doesn’t understand is that this alienates the only party that actually wants you to prosper) and Putin will in best game of thrones style - end you swiftly when China pulls the trigger

    Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

    In 20 years without a EU to fund your military - it will be less efficient than that of a banana republic in Africa - let alone that of China and Russias combined forces

    I hope your “military training” learned you to dodge 100 atomic bombs pr state when they decide it is your turn

    But yeah I look forward to see from upstairs how many of your population will fight a combined population of close to 1,3 billion people - when the nukes starts raining down - but sorry I forgot all the military operations you have done - and I forgot the display of chaos was shown when 9/11 happened - because being attacked on own soil is 100% the same - I would actually like to see proof you have ever been in the military - you don’t act like anyone I have ever served with - the “macho” gen in you reminds me more of a teenage kid only having fought in call of duty

    If you for one second think it changes anything if you have a population of 6 million or 350 million if your opponent is 1.3 billion and has plenty enough nukes to delete planet earth - then the call of duty is strong in you my friend not me - and I would think they could easily gather a couple billion extra in Middle East, Africa and South America - if it is a question about manpower

    At least we have a fighting chance. Obviously none of us know how close any Chinese subs may be to us at any given time but at least we have a punchers chance of intercepting any ICBMs. China, like every other nuclear power, knows that if they fire nukes, then everyone fires nukes, and humanity possibly ceases to exist. At least as we know it. It's called mutually assured destruction. You talk about Chinese nukes like we don't have them. Like we're Denmark or something.

     And says, China has over a billion poor souls, easily a over a billion(s) in potential allies, the most extensive Navy in the world, and probably thousands of J-20s. It doesn't make them the most capable military though. We know it. They know it.

    Every nation in NATO apart from you have made a “new alliance” without you - and I don’t understand your guys obsession with us being 6 million people - we are clearly in worst case scenario fighting as an EU unit (then we are 550 million people) - and it is you guys that have all the enemies - and do you know how much of your military funding is being paid by us ? We are the primary reason you are technologically in front - now we will start focus on our own industries - getting our own troops etc. - Trump has in 6 months cut your potential military funding with 21 trillion dollars and 700 million people - when our industries get to your level or close to it - you will no longer have anyone to sell it to and it will rather quickly turn into a shadow of what you have today - not because we want ! Because you force us to

    There are also so many “unaccounted” for changes that might very well happen if you turn your back to us - we are for instance a big player in the narrative that says international trade is happening in USD - if we didn’t help push that narrative - it would change before New Year - China and Russia already have tried to push for this so they are onboard - a lot of experts has already suggested the EURO might take that role and the markets has begun shifting towards it - so if we called that shot that it was a change we wanted to pursue - the interest rate you pay on your debt would go through the roof

    @Calde13

     You cant really be trying to compare the EU and the US are you? The EU is like having an ETF mutual fund with Apple as the top holding and a bunch of penny stocks for the rest. The EU is a collection of default countries held together by one very strong economy which is Germany. The only reason why the Euro is strong now is because Trump is an idiot and thinks that the cure all is to sink the dollar, prior to him getting in I would have thought the Euro goes under parity. So thank Trump for saving a very top heavy currency all to try and prop up US exports. There is a reason why Trump has failed multiple times in the markets, this is a strong example of his lack of economic intelligence.

    There are many decent countries in the EU but there are several which are garbage and who have been propped up for a long time to save face for the union itself. The monetary policy that the EU has is inferior to the US, there is no way the Euro could replace the USD and even if it did the entire complex of cross currency markets would be wrecked in the process, bringing down the USD in this way would destroy everything else and all those PIGS countries would be destroyed.

    EU controls 4 out of 6 payment systems used in international trade - we could more or less blackout the premise for international trade with the push of a button - don’t believe me - go look on the Russian demands for a peace deal in Ukraine - and well we have 4 economies in top 10 of the biggest in the world so we aren’t a insignificant player in regards to that - but being the world currency - stability and reliability is the two most important - you can guess who the market prefers for those post Trump - I am sure you can figure that out so won’t cut it out for you - btw this is as I stated imaginary talk at the moment - we have shown no interest in taking that spot - even though the market has made it statement ! But in a alternative world where you leave a ally through 80 years fight a nuclear war you were just as much a part of starting - I could see us not having the same warm relations - and in such a world - who knows what happens

    At the end of the day every country can print as much money as they want - so you guys look on “why you are the main world currency” all wrong - it is actually more or less ONLY due to your earlier stability and because other important players like us (you welcome) has said that is how it works in the factory we call the “world”

    @Calde13

     The weakness in the argument is that you equate local payment control to the value of a currency. The actions and functions of a central bank are not solely for payment processing and the more important aspects is that to which the ECB lacks. The FED has a mandate and even when Trump the clown threatens and puts pressure on their mandate they do not change it because he said so. The ECB is almost the opposite they make monetary decisions based on putting their finger in the air and going with the current consensus. The real value in a central bank is to assist all central banks and coordinate the global liquidity need and weaknesses not just be a piece of paper to process business and consumer transactions.

    The fact that your central bank cut rates in the middle of heavy inflation and is chomping at the bit to do more tells the story, the ECB follows the FED and knows they cannot drop rates much more even though they want to because they think low rates equals a quick cocaine hit to economic growth. The FED sticks to their mandate about inflation and employment not bowing to what Germany wants or that Italy cant float their budget deficits with high interest rate debt (just an example).

    When you have a collection of countries that a few control the economic marbles and valuable commodities while a large number of others are just takers and have no backbone to stop spending the collective cannot be the leaders of global financial decisions and outcomes.

    I actually can’t answer you on this - because there are too many words here in your response I don’t understand - but you at least sound like you know what you are talking about regarding this (no joke) - so we can end this with just saying I agree thumbs_up

    But most of the damage has already been done to you and the motion is already happening as we speak - and we have no say in that and it won’t change if EURO don’t take over down the line - that destiny was sealed when he fired that girl over your job numbers - no matter how likely it is or isn’t that they will tamper with the numbers - just the idea that they could and want - which is already starting to creep up in investors mind will determine your future investments and interest rates etc. I don’t say the shift away from you will be easy sailing for us - but you guys don’t do much for that shift not happening (at this point there isn’t much you could do granted) - but trading is 100% trust and reliability - It is the future promise that if you give me a pig today for a piece of paper with a number on - I will trade you back tomorrow - if you can’t trust that or any numbers coming out from you - there is none that will invest in you

    @Calde13

     Trump is an idiot, he needs a mouth babysitter because he cannot control his zero ego verbal throw up that all those around him tolerate. Trump firing a data collection agency head and blaming the data collector for the result of an economic number NOT created by the department shows he really has no clue. What is also telling is that BLS number is and will be changed like 4-5 times before it is final, so Trump the dictator in chief sees an initial number that he NEEDS to blame someone for and so he cans whatever department head not even knowing that the department head cannot control the survey data since they are DATA COLLECTORS. And of course say in 3 months with the FINAL number is FINAL he will be blabbering blaming someone else for something else.

    The current stupid flavor of the moment is Trump wants to take a stake in Intel a public company as if the government takes stakes in public companies when said company is solvent and functioning, what kind of idiot acts like this? We need an AI version of Trump where his actual live data feed is captured and then altered to stop with his racist, sexist, abusive idiot speak and have AI change it to actually put some intelligence into his meandering nonsense. Trump AI > Trump Zero

    @wallstreetcappers

     Intel lost 20 billion last year. Billion with a B. They're on pace for similar losses this year. Intel have cut 5,400+ jobs, in my state alone, in the past 12 months. 5,000 jobs would be a lot in any state but it's A LOT in Oregon, where they are one of the biggest employers. Our very existence relies on semiconductors manufactured in a volatile region, which is contested by, and sits at the mercy of, our biggest rival/enemy. Even intel, to an extent, relies on Taiwanese semiconductors. As does AMD. So you have every facet of our lives relying on microchips. You have one of the oldest, and largest chip manufacturers in the country, a "too big to fail" type of company, struggling. And you're pushing that the notion floated by Trump, of government investment and involvement, is a bad thing? Idiotic, actually. And you don't think that's extreme partisanship speaking?
