I'm not suggesting your wrong or that I disagree, there is merit here.
What would be curious to me is how the numbers shake out.
189.5 million voters (37.4 republican and 44.1 democrat).
77.3 million to Trump
75.01 million to Harris
So on the presumption (likely false but fair) that all of the party voters consume information from their preferred and conformtable organizations where did all those other voters come from?
Meaning fox news, middle right, right, and far right sources didn't show numbers consistent with the results and Trump's reach on the other networks wasn't as great.
While I understand the contention of being lied to, I am unclear exactly how these lies were delivered as lazy people don't listen to long form podcasts or actively seek sparse candidate information.

@unplucked_gem Correct, I consider that a high majority reason why. If someone plays pied piper and the idiots follow the results show themselves. The TNC narrative for the election was to place full blame for economic events on Biden, place full blame for global political issues completely on Biden, then nsult, demean, belittle Harris (this is an every day life behavior for Trump, not at all just for the election) and the most idiotic part of their scheme was to minimize and simplify complex economic conditions and say over and over and over that on day 1 all of the woes of the common dope will be fixed because he has the answers. Oh and lie about not knowing what project 2025 was. This entire platform and approach was 100% lies not because I dislike the guy but because his own results prove and validate this fact..it is a fact. People are lazy, unmotivated and want a quick fix to all their problems, people cannot do simple calculations like calling out the clown for saying he would lower gas prices and drill baby drill, people cannot think that the two lies are incompatible and impossible because they want to BELIEVE lies as it solves their problems. Trump is a liar a cheat a fraud and a con based only on his words, his actions, his results. If you make promises you know cannot be kept to accomplish fraud then you are a con, and Trump is a con. Not shocking the American public fell for a con, they want to believe lies and make believe endings and who cares if the whole premise is a dollar store souffle. What is the worst part is there is ZERO recourse, no accountability no firings of Trump the liar, using his own premise and approach he should resign for all the lack of execution of his lies.
excellent post and didnt make up 1 single lie about who trump is and always has been. Its a shame voters didnt do more self research on trump back in 2015, instead of just voting for him based on watching his fake tv reality show and how he was such a great businessman. If they would have looked under the covers they would have saw what a truly awful human being he is and a total con artist. Had voters done that back in 2015, Our Country wouldnt be dealing with him today. Those trump voters created this mess.

Most American people are lazy and do not research things for factual perception...they rely on what others say or what is provided on the news channels or advertisements....this is why there is so much appeal to commercial ads and social circles because most are gullible and believe whatever anyone says, even though they can easily look up factual information in today's day and age...I have mentioned this before, but just because you have the right to vote doesn't mean you should vote if you do not know or understand the facts of who or what you are voting for...this concept is lost on many...voting because of party line or voting because your family member told you so is not a reason to vote...educate yourself about the specifics before you cast a vote because you think you have to as your right to vote...half of those votes, or most likely more, are not voting on criteria or fact specific data but rather on what appealed to them on social media or in a commercial or what someone told them...kind of a weak and diluted way of voting if you ask me....

Preceeding 2004's introduction of "Giant Douche vs. Turd Sandwich" , our election system has seen exploitation by both parties.
There is also some trouble in the deception theory in that Biden's 2020 run was most clearly built on lies, namely his cognitive state.
The signs were there leading up and most definitely got worse throughout.
However, there is a difference between over promising (cancellation of student debt / building a border wall) and hiding a clear inability to perform.
All of them over promise, every election cycle, it's how it goes. Some is hyperbole, some is intentional, some is at the mercy of other branches.
I cannot control who is run for each party (especially as an independent in PA - I literally cannot vote) or what the general uninformed and lazy public ends up doing.
But like betting, I can control my process which showed me Trump was more likely able to advance on his statements and that he worked harder in the run up than Hillary, Joe, or Kamala.
And guess what. He'll be gone in 3 years and whoever comes next will either continue his work or attempt to dismantle it.

I agree.......& people are also reactionary. They saw what Biden did/didn't do & what an embarrassment he was on both the national/international stage, how Harris was going to be more of the same (along with more cackling/word salads/embarrassments), & said "screw that". Some people act like no one could see all the lies/cons from the libs.

Yes all POTUS cycles are deception and based on making those quick impacts to get votes but there to me is a massive difference between Trump and Harris in this regard and I will comment that a huge difference between Trump and Biden is that Trump stomps on the constitution and manipulates to get what he wants where Biden attempted a few things as mentioned but did not trash the constitution, go around congress and scheme to get the student loan deal pushed through he had much more respect for the position than Trump ever could and on that topic I would say 100% I would support student loan credit/forgiveness with specific guidelines MUCH MUCH more than this gutter trash budget Trump rammed through. Both are deficit spend but one serves the common folk and Trump's trash serves the groups that do not deserve or need it and have turned this country into a police state in the process.
Harris did not throw down DAY ONE promises as a narrative, she did not personally insult and degrade Trump as a slobby draft dodging white male anywhere near to the level Trump trashed her, he trashes everyone but Harris had much more professionalism and decorum because she is a better person with more character than Trump.
Trump used division and lies to get elected, he did not accomplish ANY of his lies and with that he should recuse himself from office given that he holds others to this standard but not himself. If you rule with a sword then you have to use that same sword on yourself when you fail to keep promises.
