    @kcblitzkrieg

     I've said it at least twice in this thread but I'll bring everyone up to date.

    Eliminate the man who started the invasion & we end the war before it becomes WW III.

    @Midnight1

     So then you are suggesting that NATO take out Zalensky? It depends on which side you agree with to who started this mess. I and others say Ukraine did this by breaking the terms of their provincial separation. I'd highly suggest that either Russia could annex the entire set of provinces back to the larger union, OR that Ukraine could come correct and admit their faults, agree to stop with suggestion or inference of any kind that they would engage with NATO and that they will abide to the terms of their agreement. Both are how I see the cleanest and most legal way of stopping this situation.

    Russia cannot invade a province/republic that they could legally (in their mindset) bring back to the union, how is it at all an invasion? It is a military exercise at best, an invasion I do not see how there is any scenario an invasion. The groups saying it is an invasion are the NATO/UN participants that side with Ukraine's position but that does not mean Russia does not have grounds for their actions.

    The US did something similar with Cuba when Castro was considering partnering with Russia, I do not see any difference between what Russia is guarding against and what the US guarded against with Cuba. If Ukraine were to consider joining NATO then the other republics might also and then potentially a large section of western border is at risk from their perspective.

    @Midnight1

     I think the perspective has to do with which group you side with. Ukraine has been at odds with Russia since they were granted republic status 30 years ago and both sides feel valid in their position. I am not sure what Ukraine thinks the reaction Russia has and will have with their consideration of being involved with NATO.

    peace_5 Plenty of sentiment for that logical reasoning.

    The world cannot give in to terrorist dictators... like Putin.

     Ya its like these people think that if Putin so much as say's anything about using his nukes,we're just supposed to run in the corner and hide,and then let Putin do whatever he wants.Then they'll complain about dem's being weak.

    Meta bans Russia state media RT over foreign interference globally.  Move comes after justice department crackdown.  Apparently, easy to hire right wing Americans to spread false propaganda to influence US elections on social media.

    International court of justice has ruled that Russia must suspend military operations.  Legal experts reject Putin's reasons for invading Ukraine.  Russian crime of agression violates international agreements.  United nations charter, 2014 Minsk agreement, 1997 friendship treaty, 1994 Budapest memorandum and 1975 Helsinki act.

    A 2.8 Richter scale earth quake which is caused by the Ukrainian drones hitting on the Russian arms/missiles depot deep inside the Russian territory of Tver Oblast*. This is believed to be the largest blast in Russia since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

    The arms depot is located just about 300 miles north of Ukraine/Russia border. Many huge exploding mushroom clouds can be seen in the video.

    "A very important result was achieved last night on Russian territory and such actions weaken the enemy, I thank everyone involved. Such precision is truly inspiring."--Volodymyr Zelenskiy, president of Ukraine.

    In Fortune article, economist Ander Aslund estimates Ukraine could win the war if it had an additional $50 billion per year and a green light to bomb military targets in Russia.  Alleging Russia economy is in worst shape than it appears to be and can't sustain war much longer.

    US has expected 8,000 North Korean troops to enter combat against Ukraine  in coming days, these 8,000 N. Korea soldiers are in the Kursk Oblast, Russia. These N. Korean soldiers could be used by Russia as the "meat grinder" in the war in Kursk region, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

    N. Korea troops lack the combat experience and probably ill equipped also, they could suffer heavy casualties in a hurry.

    All but one N. Korea soldier were killed in the first engagement with the Ukrainian troop at Kursk region on 10-25-24, per First North Korean troops killed in Russia, says Lithuanian source

    Not to be surprised by the above story if it's valid, the thing is N. Korean troops haven't had combat experience for some 71 years since the end of the Korean War in 1953. Also, they could be poorly equipped with only small arms in the Russian frontline.

    After the resurging of Trump presidency, European countries are seemly casting concern and doubt on their national securities as well as the integrity of Ukraine. They are worried for good reason in that Trump has shown his negative attitude toward NATO and Ukraine.

    If the trump the pro-fascist withdraws aide to Ukraine (or tries another extortion) the situation in Ukraine will get so bad that NATO will jump in with MILITARY to combat the Russian/North Korean terrorist forces   and because of trump we will effectively have WW3

    It's a quite possible scenario, I think NATO will jump in to assist Ukraine in case Trump pulls off US financial and military aide from Ukraine. Appeasement did not work in dealing with the Nazi Germany in 1930's, it will not work in dealing with Putin's Russia either in 2020's.

    NATO strong.

    If we stop funding this war, Russia will declare victory and pull out. They will continue to occupy Crimea and the eastern oblast. Mark my word.

    @Europa

     EXACTLY!  Appeasement to any terrorist (Putin) in and of itself is WRONG, let alone the fact that most likely it will not stop there. Once one "makes peace" with a fascist (Putin) as Neville Chamberlain learned in 1939, the fascist will accept the fact that the appeasers are WEAK and have no stomach to keep defending.... So what is an imperialist - who desires a return to a SOVIET EMPIRE again - going to do knowing the West has just given up and appeased all his demands....so far....?  There would never be a better time to completely takeover ALL of Ukraine, as has been his desire, than the moment the West (pro-fascism trump) says something really phucking stupid like: Russia "can do whatever the hell they want"

    He might stop after he gets all of Ukraine........maybe..............Or maybe not!

    Meanwhile, the so called God-fearing soul of America would be dead.

    Obviously, Sweden and Finland don't believe it! Both countries, which were neutral for decades, applied for the NATO membership shortly after the Russia invasion of Ukraine in Feb. of 2022. With both Finland and Sweden accessions, NATO now is getting stronger than ever.

    The Finns and Swedes feel more secured and protected by the NATO alliance, Fubah.
