One of the first things Biden did in office was to spit in the face of the oil industry. Today, he pointed the finger at them & blamed them for not executing more action on "existing" leases. In the words of the old hag Pelosi, "he's such a moron". Why would they risk spending on permits, exploration, etc. knowing that he could halt their action at any time? It's the ignorance typical of someone that has never worked in the private sector.

Covid was mishandled by biden and friends. They kept on saying believe the science yet when the numbers did not coincide with their narrative, shit storm followed. Hospitals forging numbers to get paid, masking kids when not necessary, multiple booster shots...( several congress personal on board getting paid)..paying people to stay home, which 3/4 of Americans made more staying home then working... this major major role regarding inflation...

The Keystone XL pipeline was slated to cover about 1,240 miles from Alberta to Nebraska, and to be able to carry 830,000 barrels of crude oil a day, per the Alberta government's website. The US imported about 209,000 barrels of crude oil each day from Russia in 2021, according to the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers trade association.
Kenney said the Keystone XL pipeline could be built by the first quarter of 2023 if the Biden administration gives the go ahead, according to Global News.
Calgary-based TC Energy told Insider the existing Keystone pipeline system "will continue to provide unique, stable and safe source of energy to meet increasing US energy demands."

Actually you only proved what I stated and what I have stated like twenty times. Keystone delivers Alberta and Canadian sour to the gulf for refining, that is the Valero comment I made, Ive also said numerous times that Canada has forward agreements with China, that refined crude product basket does not return to the US it does not go to Canada it is shipped from the gulf to China. China is in the Brent neighborhood, the pricing is based on geography, so we price off Texas Crude futures while Europe and Asia prices off Brent. So since all of the production is already sold via forwards then there is ZERO benefit to the US consumer, the only benefit is to the refiners and that is not the only product they refine so I am not interested in the jobs created at the Valero refinery, that would exist with or without Canada garbage sour being piped through our land so China can get product.
