cut from cnn , the most trusted name in cable news ::

Norway announced on Wednesday that it would donate three multiple-launch rocket systems to Ukraine, following similar decision made by the United States.

The donation is made possible by a close cooperation between Norway and the United Kingdom, Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram said in a statement.

"We must continue our support so the Ukrainians can continue their fight for freedom and independence," the minister added.

Serious question for you international relations pundits…

what do you see the end game being here?

Is this going to continue into a long drawn out conflict?  Will Russia be pushed out of eastern Ukraine?  If so, when?  6 mos? A year? More than 2 years?

who are the winners and losers going to be at the end?
I look forward to no one responding to the questions as the only goal in this sub forum is to spread and propagate the “toe the line” narratives.
zero thought.  Zero critical thinking.  Zero self awareness.  All sheep being led to the slaughter.
I feel sorry for the 5 of you all.

You will not survive here. You are not a wolf, and this is the land of wolves now...

Finland and Sweden are about to join NATO, Vladimir Putin did not weaken NATO. To the opposite, NATO is getting stronger and more united against Russian aggression.

NATO will stop viewing Russia as a "strategic partner" and instead identify it as the bloc's "main threat," Spain's prime minister said on Wednesday.

Nato chief Jens Stoltenberg also confirmed that Finland and Sweden were being formally invited to join the alliance.

The path was cleared for the two Nordic nations after an announcement on Tuesday that they had a security agreement with Turkey - the only Nato member that was blocking the move.

Mr Stoltenberg called this the "fastest accession process ever", adding that he expected the speedy progress to continue.

Russia condemned the expansion of Nato as a "strictly destabilising factor".

Meanwhile, Turkey said it would now be pushing for the extradition of 33 "terror" suspects from Finland and Sweden, under the deal that lifted Ankara's objections to their Nato membership bids.

Sweden is going to be a member...thank you Putin for pushing that nation into seeing things reasonable....

More than 450 Ukrainian armed forces have completed their advanced Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS) training in England. The British government is supplying MLRS to Ukrainian forces to counter Russian artillery tactics.

    https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-troops-train-britain-use-advanced-rocket-systems-2022-06-29/

New Zealand has supported the Ukrainian forces in the MLRS training in U.K. Imaging how many Western countries are supporting Ukraine against Putin's aggression? The number of countries standing behind Ukraine shall prove bridge too far for Putin's War in Ukraine.

All of the western countries are getting destroyed by their stock markets and rising costs — all of the politicians involved will be voted out if costs continue to rise and the economies continue to dump.

Russian forces driven to the sea in snake island the island has been liberated from invaders.

Ukraine's armed forces have done exactly that, claiming a series of devastating attacks on the island itself and any vessel bringing troop deployments and heavy weaponry.

This is leading to renewed peace talks.

Moscow is signaling gestures of good will.

As they say withdrawal of snake island is in good faith. Allowing grain exports and removal of the grain blockade.

They sent 144 soldier prisoner exchange with Ukraine including 80 soldiers who were in the maripol steel complex.

Putin has agreed to Sweden and Finland joining NATO . That if weapon systems are deployed Russia will respond in Kind.

Putin has even humor ed that g7 leaders would look disgusting topless.....

However Indonesia has reached out to Ukraine to be an independent monitor of the peace talks.

KYIV, June 29 (Reuters) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo offered on Wednesday to deliver a message from Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskiy to Russian leader Vladimir Putin to try to boost peace hopes.

It was not immediately clear how Zelenskiy responded to the offer made by Jokowi - as President Widodo is known - during talks in Kyiv or whether the Ukrainian leader had any message he wished to send to Putin.

Jokowi is the chair of the Group of 20 nations and one of six leaders the United Nations has appointed as "champions" of a Global Crisis Response Group, formed to address the threat of a hunger and destitution posed by the war in Ukraine

The G20 summit is being held in November Indonesia...

Russia has not yet decided whether president Vladimir Putin will attend November's G20 summit in Indonesia.

In a call with reporters, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Russia had an invitation to attend and would decide “at the necessary time” whether Mr Putin will go in person.

It comes as Russian forces withdrew from Snake Island off Ukraine's coast in the Black Sea as a “gesture of goodwill”, the defence ministry said on Thursday.

Halting Ukraine war ‘only chance’ to avoid economic crisis, Hungary tells EU

Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov has said the UK and US are hindering peace talks by advising Ukrainian negotiators to "play games"

Widodo ( President of Indonesia)  said he wants to encourage Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to start a dialogue on ending the war, which has caused global food shortages and surges in commodity prices.

“My mission is to build peace, because the war must be stopped and (its effects) on the food supply chain must be lifted,” Widodo said, “I will invite President Putin to open a dialogue and, as soon as possible, to carry out a cease-fire and stop the war.”

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has choked global markets and contributed to higher prices of meat, dairy products, cereals, sugar and vegetable oils

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said it's important to achieve a resumption of grain exports from Ukraine and food and fertilizer exports from Russia to end shortages and reduce prices.

Indonesia will host the G20 larvov has stated he will attend however Putin has reserved his option for in person attendance.

Moscow begining to remove obstacles in grain shipments.

This year marks an important milestone, the 30th anniversary of the Organisation of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) which was created amid global change, optimism and hope for eliminating dividing lines in the interest of achieving global peace, well-being and prosperity.

In these 30 years, the BSEC has travelled a path of success starting out as a purely dialogue format and growing into an all-encompassing organisation in the Greater Black Sea region. For the first time in its thousand-year history, the Black Sea region has acquired an identity of its own and a reliable institutional framework. For many years now, the BSEC has been a driving force in developing collective decisions to promote sustainable development, expand economic opportunities, and integrate the Black Sea region into global supply chains.

Russia takes pride in being one of the founders of the BSEC and is one of its active participants. In conjunction with other states, we make consistent efforts to reinforce the organisation’s practical potential and to create proper conditions for effective operation. Key initiatives include the creation of a ring road around the Black Sea, sea route expansion, interaction on emergency situations and firefighting, and cooperation between law enforcement agencies. In the foreseeable future, we are counting on positive dynamics in trade facilitation and the introduction of a “one-stop shop” customs clearance mechanism.

Today, in the context of the ongoing formation of a more fair and democratic multipolar order, the BSEC is facing new challenges stemming from imbalances in leading global markets, growing geopolitical differences and the redistribution of global economic power. Growing protectionism, unfair competition and unilateral restrictions are cause for concern.

Romania at capacity with Ukraine grain exports.

    https://www.voanews.com/a/romanian-port-struggles-to-handle-flow-of-ukrainian-grain-/6632795.html

With Ukraine’s seaports blockaded or captured by Russian forces, neighboring Romania’s Black Sea port of Constanta has emerged as a main conduit for the war-torn country’s grain exports amid a growing world food crisis.

It’s Romania’s biggest port, home to Europe’s fastest-loading grain terminal, and has processed nearly a million tons of grain from Ukraine — one of the world’s biggest exporters of wheat and corn — since the Feb. 24 invasion.

But port operators say that maintaining, let alone increasing, the volume they handle could soon be impossible without concerted European Union support and investment.

“If we want to keep helping Ukrainian farmers, we need help to increase our handling capacities,” said Dan Dolghin, director of cereal operations at the Black Sea port’s main Comvex operator.

“No single operator can invest in infrastructure that will become redundant once the war ends,” he added.

Comvex can process up to 72,000 metric tons of cereals per day. That and Constanta’s proximity by land to Ukraine, and by sea to the Suez Canal, make it the best current route for Ukrainian agricultural exports. Other alternatives include road and rail shipments across Ukraine’s western border into Poland and its Baltic Sea ports.

Just days into the Russian invasion, Comvex invested in a new unloading facility, anticipating that the neighboring country would have to reroute its agricultural exports.

This enabled the port over the past four months to ship close to a million tons of Ukrainian grain, most of it arriving by barge down the Danube River. But with 20 times that amount still blocked in Ukraine and the summer harvest season fast approaching in Romania itself and other countries that use Constanta for their exports, Dolghin said it’s likely the pace of Ukrainian grain shipping through his port will slow.

“As the summer harvest in Romania gathers momentum, all port operators will turn to Romanian cereals,” he warned.

Ukraine’s deputy agricultural minister, Markian Dmytrasevych, is also worried.

In an address to the European Parliament earlier this month, Dmytrasevych said that when Constanta operators turn to European grain suppliers in the summer “it will further complicate the export of Ukrainian products.”

How do see this war ending?

Russia started this. By sending unmarked soldiers to disrupt the government's in eastern Ukraine after they annexed crimerea Russia is looking to divide east west Ukraine.

Ukraine is looking to remove Russian troops by force or gravedigger from eastern Ukraine.

As for NATO and non NATO members NATO ranks are swelling g our weapon systems from decades ago are destroying Russian equipment.

Russia sphere of influence is shrinking. Their weapon systems are proved to be junk....

So krieg, how do you see this crime unfolding ....

Afghanistan Georgia Chechens where they lost their military and economy

or more of a crimerea solution?

And wait till the next winter Olympics for another invasion?

Vladimir Putin says the G7 leaders would be a 'disgusting' sight if they were to undress 'above or below the waist'. The Russian president was responding to Boris Johnson’s remarks during the G7 summit earlier this week, in which the UK prime minister suggested leaders could take their clothes off to 'show that we’re tougher than Putin'. Putin went on to reference a poem by Alexander Pushkin, who wrote that 'one can still be a man of action, and mind the beauty of one's nails'.

He has a point no one wants to see the German chancellor go topless.....

As long as the left keeps pushing for "clean" energy and electric vehicles at hyper speeds that are not obtainable with the current infrastructure, it won't end until Russia has as much land as they need to pull natural resources to fill your "clean" energy that the left keeps pushing. The US is in high demand for natural resources so we can keep up with demand for electric vehicles and other "clean" energy sources. If Ukraine can't produce at the speed the world needs, Russia will take the land so we're forced to buy from them. So while the left keeps pushing "global warming" and "buy over priced electric vehicles" and the need to alternative energy sources, this war won't end until Russia has all the land and natural resources the world needs to "beat global warming".  While while the left denounces this war, they are lining up to buy electric vehicles and don't seem to realize why this war is happening other then "PuTiN bAd LiKe OrAnGe MaN".

    Russia invaded Ukraine....

And somehow this is the Democrats fault?

Because they are pushing for electric vehicle....

    Oh my.....

Electric vehicles need solar panels to charge them.

Imagine that giving Americans energy independence.

Simply plug your car into your grid and have transportation...the nerve of em...

    Russian premier movements last week.

He spent the night in an outside nation first since 2020.

On Wednesday, Putin flew to Turkmenistan for a gathering of the leaders of the five countries surrounding the Caspian Sea, which also include Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Iran. The summit held practical significance because Russia is trying to expand its influence in the economically vital, energy-rich region, while looking to fill the power vacuum left behind by the American withdrawal from nearby Afghanistan.

But the summit was also of symbolic importance for Putin’s audience back home, offering a split-screen image of diplomatic activity and Russian soft power just as Western leaders gathered in Madrid. Putin presented two handmade sabers and a chess set from the Urals to Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, the eccentric former leader of insular Turkmenistan who was celebrating his 65th birthday; at the gathering with Caspian leaders, Putin called for more regional cooperation, including a Caspian film forum.

Afterward, Putin held a brief news conference for the few members of the press accompanying him, dismissing the idea that his invasion of Ukraine had backfired because it led Sweden and Finland to seek to join NATO. A Western-allied Ukraine, he insisted, would be much more of a threat than the two Nordic countries.

He also got in a dig at the physiques of Western leaders, responding to a quip by Prime Minister Boris Johnson of Britain this week about being photographed bare-chested as Putin has been. “I think this would have been a disgusting sight, in any case,’’ he said.

Again Putin does raise a valid point nobody wants Boris Johnson to go topless his tits sag further than chancellor Merkel's.....
