McConnell had not done enough to defend him during his February impeachment trial.

Trump also attacked McConnell's wife, former Transportation Secretary.
He ridicule her for resigning following the January 6 insurrection.

Trump was a Traitor. Who led a failed coop with the intent to hang the vice president and destroy the ballot box forcing a recertification of the vote.
