In federal court papers filed in Delaware, Hunter Biden’s attorneys asked the judge who oversaw his gun trial to dismiss the case against him because of a federal court ruling in Florida dismissing the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump.

In the ruling Monday, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed Jack Smith’s criminal case against Trump on the grounds that the appointment of and funding for the special counsel were illegal.

President Joe Biden’s son contends that that ruling, plus a concurrence by Justice Clarence Thomas in the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity decision in the federal election interference case against Trump this month, are reasons to dismiss special counsel David Weiss’ case against him.

“Based on these new legal developments, Mr. Biden moves to dismiss the indictment brought against him because the Special Counsel who initiated this prosecution was appointed in violation of the Appointments Clause as well,” the filing says.

“The Attorney General relied upon the exact same authority to appoint the Special Counsel in both the Trump and Biden matters, and both appointments are invalid for the same reason,” the filing argues.

A federal judge threw out a bankruptcy case filed by The Gateway Pundit, finding that the far-right conspiracy site was seeking bankruptcy protections in “bad faith” just to avoid costly defamation lawsuits stemming from its publication of 2020 election lies.

The ruling Wednesday from US bankruptcy judge Mindy Mora means the defamation cases will move forward. Two Georgia election workers and a former Dominion Voting Systems executive sued the outlet over its false claims that they rigged the 2020 results.

The Gateway Pundit denies wrongdoing and said those cases forced them into bankruptcy, but the judge concluded it was trying to exploit the bankruptcy system in “bad faith.”

The Gateway Pundit “remains both balance sheet and cash flow solvent,” Mora wrote in her ruling. “There is no present financial distress, no looming foreclosure sale, no prospect of a market crash. There is only the [defamation cases] in which [The Gateway Pundit] must defend itself. That’s not a basis for bankruptcy relief; it’s the justice system in operation.”

Rumors are the POS is dropping out of the scheduled September debate.

He's all that and worse, but I see they are using the plausible excuse that there is no point scheduling a debate if the dems might possibly replace Harris with a different nominee. Although the debate time and place shouldn't matter in regard to who is at the podium for the dems even if the 1% chance does occur and Harris drops out too.

They also appear to be positioning themselves to HIDE from a debate in what would be tabbed "the Prosecutor vs the Convicted felon" by possibly insisting the scheduled debate with ABC on September 10 must be staged only by FAKES NEWS if it happens at all and the Dems must accept their demands otherwise any debate is off.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A St. Louis Cardinals superfan known as Rally Runner was sentenced Thursday to 10 months in prison for storming the U.S. Capitol while dressed up in the outfit that he was known for wearing as he jogged around outside the baseball team's stadium.

Rally Runner, 44, was arrested in August 2023 on charges that he used a stolen shield to help other rioters attack police officers at the Capitol.

He pleaded guilty in March to a felony count of civil disorder.

At the DNC tonight, I hear a repeated chant about the CONVICTED FELON:
