Trump administration aides “usurped control of CDC communications
and blocked public health officials from providing accurate information
about the coronavirus to the American people,” the House Select
Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, in a report released Monday.

Former Director Dr. Robert Redfield, said
Trump officials blocked the department from conveying
information to Americans early on in the pandemic.

The 91-page report from the subcommittee utilized interviews
with officials to make the case that former President Donald Trump
and his team “installed political operatives who sought to

when Ryan said many Republicans lacked the
“guts” to impeach Trump, the petulant ex-president
traitor, bashed Ryan as a “pathetic loser!”

Undermining democracy is Trump's legacy.  Despite no proof, Trump supporters refuse to accept reality but believe his big lie about stolen elections.  So they cheat by extreme gerrymandering and introducing laws allowing partisan state legislatures to overturn future elections.  If mini-Trumps or election deniers win midterm elections, Stanford university experts warn that some might refuse to certify fair elections when GOP candidates lose.  Other countries are worried about US failing democracy.  Democracy only works if people have faith in it.

Also Trump has been a cheerleader of violence in rallies.  January 6 committee found evidences of republican incitement that lead to attack on capital.  For years, FBI report that most domestic terrorist attacks are committed by far right extremists.  According to the Atlantic, only GOP celebrates political violence which is typical of fascism.  One of the marks of a republic ending is a normalization of political violence.

Justice Roberts won't release the "temporary hold" until after the new republican majority begins legislating in the new year, at which point the first thing they will do is dissolve that important and productive committee in order to save Trump.

Years of Trump mismanagement worsen US inflation.  His tariffs lead to shortages of goods that still persist today.  His deal with OPEC to reduce production for years created a oil shortage that the world hasn't recovered from.  In the pandemic, schools and businesses close during Trump's watch.  However under Biden, America rescue plan and other policies helped to safely reopen them to make US economy among the strongest in the world.
