Trump's Legacy may be decreasing the size of our federal government through layoffs in this Federal shutdown. 

So much dead weight and redundancy in our federal bureaucracy.    

 

Let's let the dead weight find a real position in the private sector where they actually have to work, and are accountable.

Myth is US public sector employment is excessive.  Many Americans work in military and post office.  In OECD comparison of countries, US public sector employment is 13% versus world average of 21%.  World bank ranks US 24th best in government effectiveness.  For Tax revenue - GDP ratio, US 12% versus world average 14%.
