“The economy is off to a slow start under the new president,”
Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FwdBonds, wrote.

“You can’t have mass firings of federal workers and
government contractors and think it is not going to mean

Its amazing, then again its not really amazing that trumpy cant understand this.

Even if we could magically move every corporation back to the USA, THAT WILL NOT MAKE THINGS CHEAPER FOR AMERICANS,because we cant compete with the wages overseas workers work for and most certainly greedy pig CEOS arent going to lower the prices of products for all of us, while making less profits.

Trumpy and the magas live in some crazy reality world

    @cd329

True!   But this just goes to prove that electioneering LIES can actually pay off for a CONVICTED FELON/fraud and all his accomplices.

Economist Laffer warns that Trump tariffs would add thousands to the cost of a car, reduce profit margins and weaken ability to compete with foreign automakers.  US industry is in a better position with North American free trade deal.

The Senate adopted a resolution by a vote of 51 to 48 aimed at blocking the Trump administration’s proposed tariffs on Canadian imports.

The four Republicans who voted with Democrats were: Sens. Rand Paul, who cosponsored the resolution, Susan Collins, Mitch McConnell and Lisa Murkowski.

The move amounts to a rare bipartisan pushback against Trump in the GOP-led Senate and comes despite Trump criticizing the measure and urging [his goose-stepping] Republicans to vote against it.

Our [racist/convicted felon] president excludes China from his "flip-flop pause

and instead raises its ‘reciprocal’ levies to 125%

The credibility of the US government is non-existent. It's annihilated. It's gone!

What country is in line to buy our treasury bonds? Certainly not China or Japan.

Normally. US dollars and treasury bonds are safe havens during financial crisis.  However under Trump administration, US dollars and bonds have fallen in value as countries lose confidence in the US. America first is really America alone.

According to Politico, Trump may be triggering the fastest nuclear arms race since the cold war.  Faced with US withdrawing from defense commitments, more countries want to build nuclear arsenals.  National security experts warn that more countries with nuclear weapons increase risk of nuclear war.

    CNN —

A group of US businesses filed a lawsuit Monday arguing that President Donald Trump’s tariffs are illegal under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

The suit was filed in the US Court of International Trade by the Liberty Justice Center, a legal advocacy group arguing on behalf of five businesses that it said have been “severely harmed” by the tariffs.

The IEEPA gives the president the authority to impose emergency economic powers in response to an “unusual and extraordinary threat” to national security or the economy, criteria that the plaintiffs in this case say has not been met.

an_lightThe complaint also alleges that the law does not allow for the president to unilaterally impose tariffs.

No other president misuses emergency powers as much as Trump. In first 3 months, he has issued the most emergency orders for non-crises in history.  Corrupt Trump declares everything is a emergency so that he can do whatever the hell he wants.
