    Article by Eric Kleefeld

"In reality, Trump often promoted a foreign policy agenda that aligned with Putin’s interests. The disgraced former president publicly sided with Putin in 2018 against U.S. intelligence officials’ determinations of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

He also reportedly sided with Russia, in conversations with other world leaders, over Russia’s illegal annexation of the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine in 2014.

Trump also attempted to extort Ukraine into rigging an investigation against then-presidential candidate Biden by withholding military aid vital to their defense against Russia, in a scheme that led to Trump’s *first* impeachment."

He paved the way for Putin in Ukraine....and then has the gall to blame this whole thing on Biden.  And all of his little puppets are dancing with glee on the graves of innocent people calling Putin a charming, savvy genius.

Careful rubbing staffs, you might start a firethumbs_up

Oh, So Trump made a comment about Crimea while Obammy was generously gifting it to Vlad?

    Is that what you meant?

    I thought so.

Obammy sent blankets to cuddle and console the loss of Crimea

    Trump sent Javelins

putin had to wait for the next weakling to continue his free annexation and here we are

and yes, Biden did not win squarely, no way there's THAT many loons running around here.

I'm hoping the cost of Biden is killing those that can't afford him. You need to feel the pain of your vote personally.

And if he could have swung the G7 Conference to his private Florida resort, so as the HOST nation he might well have invited Putin anyway.

Now would be a good time for news outlets to revisit (in detail) Paul Manafort’s efforts in Ukraine on behalf of pro-Russian interests and why the FBI was clearly justified in trying to figure out what he was up to in the Trump campaign in 2016. Oh, and that Trump pardoned him.

Zelenskyy is the man Trump tried to extort.   Zelenskyy is the man on the streets now during an invasion.   Trump hid in a bunker while a few protesters were standing outside his fence.

Biden has been the leader of the free  world for over a year.  He knew Putins intent weeks and weeks ago. Biden said in 2019 he is not afraid of Putin.

Putin warned NATO no more threateniing weapons on his border.

This all could have been avoided if we had Someone in charge who was not a bumbling idiot. Someone who can relate to leaders of threatened nations. So they just blame Trump to cover up their errors.

The democrats go from one crisis to another which also hides their ineptitude. All we heard about are the masks and covid.  Thats over and now putin. As inflation highest in 40 years, gas 4+  dollars, division all across the spectrun, drug dealers pouring over the border and crime running rampant in all democrat cities.

These are facts. Trump is gone, but not in the minds of the leftist because he is their excuse for failure.

an_cheers   You make good points, DoubleUp4Life!  Hope to see you HERE more often!

I might bump your estimate for this forum up to around 25% or so, because many of us here on the center and left (who oppose fascist-trumpism) are in the 60+ age group and remember that iconic series well, which ran concurrently with another fav, M.A.S.H. It was running when me and at least 3 others here were serving, or had left the service already.  I even remember quite well Michael Landon in "Bonanza" (Little Joe)

They're going to need a helluvalot of lethal weapons aide to stand even a remote chance.
