Nearly 2/3 of Americans believe President Trump will be re-elected and he certainly owns the top two issues – Law and Order and the economy:“Law and order remains the top issue in the election” (32%); the economy is second (30%)

Biden is still leading in the polls,
and voters say he won his first debate against Trump

    CNBC
Democrat Joe Biden came into the first debate ahead of President Trump in the national polls.

The first scientific polls to ask who won the debate Tuesday night show Biden coming out on top.

A CNBC/Change Research poll conducted Tuesday and Wednesday found
53% of likely voters nationwide said Biden did a better job in the debate,
    compared with 29% for Trump.

In the IBD/TIPP 2020 election poll: President Trump was seen as mentally sharper (47%-42%).surprised

After the debate, 19% of registered voters who watched said they switched their vote, with 11% backing Trump and only 8% shifting to Biden..... Trump + 3 %.

Poll Conclusions: Biden looked more presidential, although not very mentally sharp.

After the debate more registered voters (the ones that count ) switched their vote to Trump...even though Biden was more likable,,, it doesn't convert to votes...

On the top issues the ones voters will be voting on Law and Order and the economy ..President Trump is the clear winner...

IBD/TIPP finds .............Despite Biden's polling edge, just 36% of voters expect him to win, while 45% think Trump will prevail...

The IBD/TIPP Poll, one of only two polls to predict Trump's victory in 2016, has been recognized as the most accurate pollster in recent elections.

....IBD/TIPP's  ELECTORAL PROJECTION...President Trump will win re-election by over 100 electoral votes..  sounds about right ..

New numbers out Thursday have Biden leading President Donald Trump 47% to 45%.

On the question of who won Tuesday night’s debate,

Biden's margin here is not too different than his lead in national polls. I saw a poll yesterday says 86% of voters have made up their minds on the candidate prior to last night's debate. Two more debates to come, but I agree that vast majority of voters have picked their candidate. Perhaps, close to million of people have already casted their ballots at this point.

guessing that tripled in the past 4 days
