    [Trump's] rhetoric is inspiring widespread calls for violence.

    REUTERS -

    In a review of commenters’ posts on three pro-Trump websites, including the former president’s own https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2024/04/01/truth-social-trump-media-major-losses-2023/73171231007/, Reuters documented more than 150 posts since March 1 that called for physical violence against the judges handling three of his highest-profile cases – two state judges in Manhattan and one in Georgia overseeing a criminal case in which https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/05/08/georgia-appeals-court-consider-ousting-fani-willis/73612205007/ of illegally seeking to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

    Those posts were part of a larger pool of hundreds identified by Reuters that used hostile, menacing and, in some cases, racist or sexualized language to attack the judges

    What is more important in the world we live in??

    1.  "words" / threats against "NOT judges but, elections officials"....maybe a few judges but nothing ever happened to them so who gives a FK.

    2.  Journalists.  Independent individuals whos only job/purpose is to inform the uninformed public being CENSORED and information ELIMINATED by mainstream media and TECh ??

    Threats to "nobodies" OR censorship and elimination of critical information to the American public??

    Pick your sides.  I know where I stand.  peace_5

    Time is a flat circle....

    "I have studied with great interest the nature and impact of hit piece attacks from regime journos, including doxxes. There was a period from 2016-2020 in which such attacks could be extremely damaging---the efficacy of such attacks has declined dramatically, especially since early 2021.

    There are a number of reasons for this and I will go over three. 1. The first is professional assortment. As the right wing ecosystem has developed, so too has the infrastructure to support political and cultural activists as professionally self-sustaining, small businesses/enterprises unto themselves. This development is associated with the dramatic change in the nature of so-called "anonymous" accounts--that is, accounts operating under some kind of pseudonym. In the old days, "anon" generally meant someone who was employed in something normal, who posted politically or culturally sensitive content on the side. The increased professionalization and monetization of the "anon" has radically transformed not only the nature of what it means to be anon (a topic for another "effort post"), but also the vulnerability of many anons to 2014-18 style dox attacks.

    2. The second reason for declining effectiveness of dox and hit pieces is a kind of herd-immunity and positive adaptive response on the right The herd-immunity emerges from the fact that aggressive cancellation attempts ultimately produce a critical mass of "cancelled" that in turn diminishes the marginal impact of any successive cancellation attempt. If everyone has been targeted by a hit piece, the pieces begin to lose the ability to socially isolate people, which is the point. The positive adaptive response is that the right has learned, largely thanks to Trump phenomenon, that it just doesn't help to cave and capitulate, and believe it or not the right is better at sticking together The Trump phenomenon has helped in another way. With the hysterical media braying about the "fascism" and "nazism" of Trump 24/7 for years, the impact of such terms diminishes and the general public learns to tune them out---a hit piece calls such and such a "far right nazi," probably just a lie like the smears against Trump

    3. A third reason for the diminishing effectiveness of dox and hit pieces is that the stakes have simply gotten much lower. 2016-mid 2019 was peak of the regime's apoplectic hysteria in relation to Trump, who came out of nowhere with one of the most stunning and subversive political campaigns in American history. There was deep existential worry (ultimately unfounded) that the governance to follow would match the subversiveness of the campaign. The censorship apparatus had to kick into overdrive, and cancellations of effective voices was critical during the mop up period. Fast forward the greater part of a decade and the landscape is radically different. The regime's concern that governance would match rhetoric in the Trump era, proved, for a variety of reasons, to be largely unfounded. In fact, the pronounced disconnect between rhetoric and reality is one of the defining features of the present information/commentary ecosystem. Whereas in 2016-18 rhetoric was embedded in the portentous currents of a transformational political movement--- in 2024 rhetoric and commentary is shockingly disconnected from real life and everyone knows it. Politics is much less a potentially transformational endeavor, and has largely equilibriated into an entertainment complex of monetized LARPs and Lifestyle choices. The stakes are simply lower, words mean less, carry less weight. Everything has less gravitas. And everything is generally swept up in the phantasmagoria of the never ending clown show. Nothing sticks. The system's inability to cancel matters less from the regime's point of view because the necessity of cancellation is radically diminished.

    For the exceptions to this, the regime has developed other tools---such as prosecution and incarceration."

    @kcblitzkrieg

     Here is a simple comparison that is very accurate. When Gore had his win taken from him via the electoral college, when Clinton lost via the same did either of them go in the media and attack election workers and put names out there and those people felt at risk to their lives? Did Clinton or Gore file endless lawsuits about the corrupt election process and did either of them put direct pressure on state and local officials to change the outcome of the popular vote?

    Trump has to own his deeds and actions, he has to own his narrative and the way he sets the example of tearing others down, belittling and offending as a way of life, he personally made that happen AND he set the stage for his warped followers to put at risk innocent election workers and public servants all because he felt he won the election.

    Dont shade the actions and deeds of a crud ball, he did this and he needs to own it. And the GOP as a collective needs to be better than their actions since this lunatic got in front of the pulpit and the sheep started following.

    I am truly stunned into total disbelief. There is a Lefty poster who actually believes from the bottom of his partisan heart that Hillary soundly defeated President Donald John Trump in 2016. Hillary actually got pounded at the voting booth by Donald Trump in 2016. The Dems set the cheating algorithms at about 2%. This was not near enough to overcome the landslide victory by 45! The point I would like to make is. I give the American voter much more credit and respect than the very partisan Lefty individuals inside Covers. The American people do not vote in the majority for pieces of human crap like hillary and joe biden.

    You are comical at best,  but you also prove my point. People like you are the sheep that follow Trump and his narrative about losing. Did you answer the question I posed? No but you did your usual Trump apologist election is stolen garbage.

    Clinton is a slimeball, Trump is worse...how can you try to compare two awful disgusting people and say one is better than another? Just own your choice, Trump is a dividing disgusting selfish jerk, dont try and shade it the evidence comes flying out of his mouth every single day. Instead of elevating Trump versus others you dislike just admit that yours is horrid but given the choices you will go with your religion based narrative and thus always vote GOP. That would be better than these cheeseball Trump is great posts you exclusively spam through the site.

    The following is what I know for certain. I initiated an epic thread called The Evidence of the Heist referring to the stolen election of 2020. What happened to the thread of evidence? The epic thread was 'book burned' into the Penalty Box so very few people would have the opportunity to educate themselves on the stolen election of November 2020. You can not make this up on your best day! Just to let you know. I feel your hatred for Donald John Trump. Your hatred for him is pouring out of my laptop while the Left lets in 11M illegals in 3 years!!

     I dont hate anyone, I call Trump for the disgusting pig that he is, I also call Clinton for what she is, I call Biden for what he is. I state my opinion based on their words and actions. I am not partisan anything, but you say that because I dislike Trump. I dislike disgusting lousy people of any party of any location. I like people who think of others more than themselves, I like citizens that vote based on what is best for those in society with the least, not what religious beliefs they have or what party they are aligned to. Calling me partisan left means you have no understanding of the concept that people believe their religious beliefs in their home and practice it in their home, they lead by example and do good deeds to others, they do not judge or cram their religious beliefs down others throats or vote based on religious intolerance. I am likely much more religious than you are and probably most in this sub forum but that is not how I vote or make decisions, that is how I live inside my house and I follow the NT principals in how in treat others, not the OT judge and hate that the GOP religious voters follow.

    Any thread that got moved was done based on the rules of the site, you can shake your fists in the air like Trump does but it does not change the fact of why people are boxed or banned or why threads are moved in any section here.

     Or were you referring to this post of mine own....?

    What is more important in the world we live in??

     1.  "words" / threats against "NOT judges but, elections officials"....maybe a few judges but nothing ever happened to them so who gives a FK.

     2.  Journalists.  Independent individuals whos only job/purpose is to inform the uninformed public being CENSORED and information ELIMINATED by mainstream media and TECh ??

    Threats to "nobodies" OR censorship and elimination of critical information to the American public??

    Pick your sides.  I know where I stand.

    So freedom of information and the truth is LESS important than empty non-sense statistical data that holds zero value ??  Censorship of information is what you stand for ??

     Sorry, just wanting to be clear here since I wasn't sure why you were responding to me with your comments about DJT and the GOP BS because YOU know I don't give a FK about either of them....

    @kcblitzkrieg

     My comment was regarding the actions of one when that one is using the same narrative to their advantage when they are much more guilty themselves. The narrative Trump uses and many here defend that he is attacked by the media and all the unfairness he has to deal with AND how it was thrown in there that the SCOTUS example of harm being done in that instance.

    When you imply that one side is responsible and that since Trump lost the election that things have simmered down means that it is one side has more ownership that bugs me. I do not think that it is accurate for one side to throw out the claim about media attacks and injustices when that same side is strongly more guilty of perpetuating it themselves. It is going on even today, Trump has branded this trial as "Trump Trial" to use a legal proceeding as a pulpit to push his narrative when the actions of this event are due to deception he created and was involved in.

    To me the GOP group has been much more aggressive as a group towards political adversaries, I am not mixing up non-political groups that the right claims are equal (BLM etc) because BLM is not a political collective aimed to bring down political opponents to win an election. BLM is about a completely different narrative and is not remotely similar politically as to what Trump's agenda is to gain political advantage. When people try to form a narrative and it is taking large liberties and is deceptive and dishonest I take issue. I am not sure the DNC has a political offensive collective the way the GOP does, you can say that AOC is obnoxious and Pelosi is annoying but I see glaring differences between the scope and scale of Trump's organization and a fringe loud mouth AOC as to the impacts each have. It is pretty simple to minimize AOC and ignore her, same with Pelosi but it is impossible to ignore the Trump behemoth because the entire party has fallen in place to make his mouth as the focal point of the party.

    My comment about Gore and Clinton was that they also were harmed by the outcome of an election, they could say with fact that they won the popular vote and that their claim was taken from the EC, Trump cannot say that and in fact he got in from that happening in his favor. Trump claimed harm with no grounds for doing so, just that he felt he won and WITH that unleashed havoc and harm to individuals and the election process. That was the purpose of my reply. Gore and Clinton did not cause harm WITH cause where Trump continues every single day of his life continuing to cause harm and baselessly claim that he was defrauded the election.

    Don't act like it is all one sided, this game has been being played for decades....

    This article is from 2020 and there are plenty more receipts on this subject all over the interwebs....

    "Hillary Clinton is sticking with her conviction that the 2016 presidential election was not conducted legitimately, saying the details surrounding her loss are still unclear.

    “There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” Clinton said during an interview for the latest episode of The Atlantic’s politics podcast, The Ticket. “We still don’t know what really happened.”

    “There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nominee continued. “But you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.”

    Clinton also offered copious criticism of President Trump, saying she warned the country about her former rival, and “it was even worse than I thought it was.”

    “I really did feel sometimes like the tree falling in the forest. I believed he was a puppet of Putin. I believed that there was relevant, important information in his tax returns. I believed he did not have the temperament to be president, he was unfit—not a partisan comment, but an assessment of him,” the former secretary of state said.

    In August, Clinton said Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden should not concede the upcoming November election “under any circumstances” because she believes “this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch, and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”

    The 2020 election results are expected to be delayed, as the use of mail-in ballots, which can take weeks to count, will likely skyrocket due to the coronavirus pandemic.

    President Trump has cast doubt on whether the upcoming 2020 election will be legitimate, warning that widespread voting by mail could be a catalyst for election fraud. Democrats have pushed for voting by mail to protect voters from having to leave their homes to vote, possibly exposing themselves to the coronavirus.

    @kcblitzkrieg

     Oh I know she is a PITA and very dangerous, no question and Ive said that many times. No shade goes onto Hilary from me. BUT there is absolutely zero comparison between Hills and Trump, not even in the same universe the reckless harassment and offensive antagonizing he does, it is his agenda and platform to destroy and harm people without concern or care for anything but for him to get what he feel is his and is due.

    Its not even a conversation to be made to compare those two and the way that Trump has damaged our election process, weaponized the GOP and harmed so many innocent people, and yes WITHOUT cause. He did not win the common, never has won the common and Hills did. Trump likes to run his rancid acidic mouth and thus it is so, if he claims it then it is true. What a awful, sad, angry petty disgusting person Trump is. Hills is brutal, but we are comparing two VERY like scenarios and its laughable to say there is any remote comparison.
