Wtf?

I guess this shows how the GOP base thinks in that no matter what you do they will support you whether illegal or moral reprehensible.

Seems like such poor political strategy to support pedophiles but i guess we are getting see the values or lack there of when it comes to the GOP.

Looks like people think heir silence is wrong. Which I get, but it's choosing not to comment rather than actually coming out and supporting Hastert.  What group of people would actually be vocal in supporting him?  Yuck.

Seems like Illinois is trying to do the right thing.  Some times abuse history is repressed and people don't remember what happened because they block out the trauma. 

But at this point based on history I have difficulty trusting GOP talking stiffer sentences or statute of limitations.  Don't get me wrong I'm sure that some are doing it for the right reasons, but as we've seen from Hastert we often see the strong GOP identity as being just a cover up for being a homosexuall pedophile.
