Because this starts a snowball affect where the Federal Apparatus is now involved in ""Local Policing issues.""  Stay the F out of local policing unless there is rampant corruption in Police Departments (like New Orleans years ago).  Are you too dense to understand how the Federal system now interjects itself into even more local (policing)  issues ?   Not good.  You lefties love ever larger "State Control" of the populace .

Onto your 2nd highlighted statement.See once you determine that all a cop has to do,is say "he was reaching for my gun,that's why I shot him".Without confirming it with witnesses or video evidence,you are giving him a license to shoot anybody.If it's on video showing someone reaching for the cops gun,I'm all good with them shooting that person.See that was their justification on the Laquan Mcdonald case.They said he lunged at officers with a knife,so that's why they pumped 16 shots into him,even though 15 of those shots were fired after he was already laying on the ground.And all the other 8 cops who were standing there,verified the story,of course until the video came out.How's that,for us "folks" "looking at the big picture",or should I say the big video.Oh yeah,speaking of firing 16 shots into someone.I can't help but notice that you never responded to my question,that if you would be ok if a cop shot your kid 16 times.If you don't have the balls to answer,just keep avoiding the question,I'll understand.Just like you completely avoided the trump part of the statement.

Dirty cops should be fired.  But the argument ( and this piece of legislation) suggests this type of behavior runs rampant in our law enforcement across the country,  right ?   Look, there are bad apples in all occupations of our society,  but I have a hard time believing most people that sign up to protect our communities have bad intentions.   

You have to understand the circumstances in which the officers are working.   Lots of ' hood rats out there that never had any dada in their life.  No authority figure in their life ,  and the cops have to deal w the fallout.  The truth is a lot of these are lost souls that need a good ass whoopin.  

So, where is the legislation that introduces programs that helps our inner - city kids, and gives them a better chance at success  ?  You see where I'm going w this ?  We as a society are too afraid to confront the real issue  .  It ain't the cops, and introducing legislation like this continues the "" victim ""  and "" oppressed "" mentality for black folks.   That ain't healthy.. 

US has among the highest incarceration rates in the world.  But there has been growing need for sentencing reforms to improve public safety, reduce costs of prison overpopulation and making criminal justice system more fair.  It will take decades to reduce incarceration rate to match low rate for most of US history.

To improve US economy for the future, trickle up economics is needed more than trickle down economics.  This requires investments in infrastructure, education and technology research.  Biden budget has the largest federal investments ever in infrastructure, education and research.

So UI is low, but is it really great since a record amount of people are having to work multiple jobs to keep up with inflation? Want to show the stats on what happens when people are forced to work multiple jobs to keep up? 

Partisan people like to blame the government for unemployment or inflation or lack of spending power and few take accountability and control of their lives. Prices always seem to be rising, outside a severe recession or depression prices in a capitalism economy always go up. Corporate profits require that prices go up, stock valuations require profits going up so capitalism almost forces inflation.

If you want to reduce inflation in your life, increase purchasing power, increase your net worth and standard of living then make better decisions and quit consuming so freaking much. People want to buy what they want without waiting and all the time without thought about if they really need it. People go out to eat, food delivery, 1500 buck phones, new cars, expensive clothing and wonder why prices always go up and why they have no money or purchase power. The fastest way to stop inflation is to reduce demand and we know that will never happen. So instead of blaming the government or especially ONE partisan politician, blame yourself.

 When the media constantly keeps reiterating that the economy is strong and everything is fine (look how well the stock market is doing, everything must be fine!), people don't look too much into what is really happening. Corporations needs profits to keep going up so they'll continue to raise prices until demand slows as long as people keep purchasing. News flash, the stock market is not a direct correlation of how well everything is. Since media doesn't want to tell the truth and since most people can't figure out what's really going on, people will continue to spend in excess outside of the necessities to survive. Eventually, debts become due. Same goes for citizens and the gov't. Inflation is just a tax that's hidden.

 The media is capitalism, it is the oil for the machine so people have to ignore social media and marketing in general. Take control of your life by budgeting better, consuming less, stop recklessly spending and watch how inflation goes down and your net worth goes up!

One personal story, I dont give personal details because wackos on here in the past have personally attacked and abused my words because they cannot debate without attacks...but for the longest time I had a Blackberry phone, due to the keyboard I love the keyboard and then of course they stopped manufacturing their product and then finally my service provider stopped even 3G for existing phones, they swapped their tower equipment and no longer service BB in any fashion so I had no choice but to get a new phone. Ive never had anything but a BB in the past and I was not about to spend 1k plus for a Samsung or Iphone, instead I found an Android which was one sequence off the current OS and it ended up costing 80 bucks new. Phone works great, it has 4G and all the apps I need, works perfect and if more people looked for ways to save and still have what you need it would immediately cool inflation and force corps to lower prices.

I am surprised to see these words from you , Wall.  You of all people (who talks about the FED a lot) should know that we experienced nearly a decade of ZIRP, after the financial crisis,... precisely due to almost negligible inflation.   Inflation wasn't an issue for nearly a decade, and people didn't complain about it, because again it was a nothingburger...

Profits ""Do NOT" require prices to go up.  You are completely ignoring the "operating efficiency" that companies consistently undergo to reduce costs !  Technology plays a big part in that contribution to companies, as well.  ""Doing more with the same""  is "music" to a business's ears.

 Operating efficiency is more valuable than increase in sales? I guess you got me on the wrong side of the financial equation. Here is an example, what is more valuable a 1% rise in gross margin or a 10% rise in sales?

Depending on the size of operating margin a corp will ALWAYS move sales over a minor increase in margin for a variety of reasons, one being that gross sales services fixed costs which service PPE. It is also tougher for a highly efficient corp to move the margin needle unless they control the inputs. So lets give an example of Tesla, they are reliant on suppliers for their COGS to a large extent versus a corp that controls all their inputs. They have greater control on sales than they do on what their suppliers can make their components for or how much lithium sells for. 

On your FED topic, you have this mixed around, what rates did was give corps more margin, they made more profits and more sales due to low to zero finance costs, they could double production at a large discount due to little to no finance costs, they can purchase capital goods (PPE) at like no cost so the FED made sales and profits easier, THAT is why inflation did not come, inflation comes much more from higher COGS and higher demand. With a zero finance cost, COGS were completely controlled and there was no supply chain issues, large in part to no finance costs and the ability to expand production. So even with an increase in demand on a marginal level, if you shift the supply curve out (which is what happened) then pricing stays flat to down. Due to ZIRP the supply curve was able to shift, and without ZIRP and WITH supply chain issues, supply curve shifted IN and prices UP. Just basic supply/demand economics.

Last thing....PE ratios make stock prices, so if a corp wants to increase share price they need to increase profits/earnings to expand the multiple. Technology can over extended period of time boost profits and sales but that is not universal and it is not forever. Any corp even with a technology advantage will end up losing it as competition comes in and they lose the advantage, technology is always shifting and changing but it is not forever. The concept of higher stock prices for sure dictate pricing if a corp feels they have price elasticity. 

A perfectly logical, rational idea whose time SHOULD COME, but most likely won't, at least not HERE....
