BTW Filing multiple corporate bankruptcies does absolutely nothing to help the American working man.  Ironically it is quite the opposite. Unfortunately I know this all to well as I had another billionaire do this to me and my small business to get out of paying me and hundreds of other creditors.

For Christ's sake.. when we talk of draining the swamp, can we agree that we are talking about career politicians that care  nothing about themselves, and their re-election in their own districts ?

Hello, porkbelly spending and special interests.    These appointments have nothing to do w/ that.  They are out in 4 or 8 years w/ Trump.    Make sense ?

BTW, I have no problem filling the cabinet with people that have experience, as opposed to people that are merely filling out the ethnic & gender box.  (right O'bama ?).  This isn't the united nations.  We are putting the most qualified individuals in these positions.

Down with O'bamacare

Down with personal income taxes

Down with business taxes.

Funny how that doesn't sound so  bad... Right ?

No, draining the swamp means not appointing corrupt people to positions of financial power.  Which Trump has done.  I challenge you or anyone else for that matter to check this guy out.  He is a Wall Street insider with a shady past at best.  Don't take my word for it check it out yourself.

Are you trying to tell us that they can't do any harm because they will only be there for 4-8 years?  Why all the fuss over Obama then?

PS. Without some kinds of regulation we will be looking at even more shenanigans such as we had when we crumbled in 2007.  Common sense proves this.

How many more Goldman people can Donny possibly appoint?  This is just silly now.  Might as well just move the Presidency to Goldman headquarters.

Goldman is as financially corrupt as one can possibly get.  The absolute KINGS of the short.  You hear that?  That's the swamp overflowing while the rich gets richer.  If you are middle class just bend over and grab the ankles............Donny is right behind you.

sorry bettingforfun for staying on this topic but it all goes to the idea of screwing the taxpayers.maybe i'm wrong, but what i don;t get is that carrier's parent company is united technologies that has $6.7 billion in federal contracts.  that's a huge amount of leverage trump had for these "negotiations".  how do you have that kind of leverage and end with a deal that loses more than 1000 jobs to mexico (more than half of what carrier originally planned) and carrier still gets a big tax break that the taxpayers have to pay for.  it seems impossible to darn up your leverage that badly unless this is just pure corporate welfare.  what am i missing?

so far so good with the stock market but valuations are getting ridiculous so you have to figure a correction is coming.  of course, i've been saying that for months so what do i know.

Sorry I didn't realize I was dealing with a low information voter.  My apologies.  Since you seemed to have missed it the rich are richer than before Obama took office.  Do a little research and you will see this for yourself. 

What's wrong with this country is that the middle class is being $crewed by our financial sector.  We don't need more of their ilk in positions of power.  I won't apologize for not wanting Goldman et al.....running our country.  They just become more wealthy.

Let me guess you were in favor of the Bush bailouts but not Obama's? I was not in favor of either because it favored the rich.  Are you ok with Trump interfering in private business but not Obama?  Once again I support neither.

This is not about class warfare but it is about leveling the playing field.  I am not in favor of AIG getting a bailout and rewarding employees with bonuses.  I don't like golden parachutes.  I don't like Goldman only being fined a half a billion for their financial crimes when they made 13 billion that year.  I don't like that Bank of America and Wells Fargo are now bigger than in 08 with as much corruption that those 2 have been involved with.

I could care less what people make as long as it's legal and ethical.  The problem is that our financial sector wants no part of that.  It's time to drain the swamp of these people and look for people that have a track record of being educated as well as moral and ethical.  Donny is not doing that.

I agree, and I doubt the president-elect cares much about the liberal definition of "draining the swamp." Joseph Kennedy built the Kennedy crime family by bootlegging liquor during prohibition.
He knew more about insider trading and rigging the stock market than anyone in history. So, what did FDR do when he wanted someone to cure ( drain the swamp ) the fixing of the stock market ? He hired the guy who knew better than anyone how to rig it. Joe Kennedy--come on down--you're the head of the Securities and Exchange Commission !!!!
