That's the key, in my view. 66% of Americans, men and women, don't want Roe overturned. That should be the guiding principle by SCOTUS next month. What the large majority of the American people want.
That 66% includes a sizable portion of republicans and independents too. Unfortunately in our system it only takes just 1 or 2 in key positions who have no problem overturning the will of the people (idiots on SCOTUS) which is likely to last for at least a full generation if not longer.
Again, despite the overwhelming will of the people to the contrary.
That unrestricted power is one of our worst problems now
