Canada imports only 17% of U.S. exports while the huge majority of Canadian exports, 77%, go to the United States. So yes, the United States depends far less on Canada as Canada depends heavily on the United States.

You are just as dependent on the countries you import from as you are on those you export to — having a lot of money but nothing to buy is no better than having a lot to buy but no money.

And I know it isn’t what Trumpy boy tries to teach you - but if you could just screw every importing country over and just focus on exporting - I have an easier idea that will have the exact same effect - just print all the money you want - and make your population eat that
