Then in March, tough guy trump made the SAME threats again: "sanctions and tariffs!"
And once again Putin ignored him.

A couple weeks later trump trump made numerous HEADLINES saying he was "very angry" at Putin and threatens tariffs on Russia!.....but this time he really meant it!
And Putin ignored him and Trump did NOTHING in response.

Then in May, shockingly, trump repeats the exact same thing, threatening sanctions if Putin did not end the war in Ukraine!
And Putin effectively laughed at his face AND ESCALATED THE WAR IN UKRAINE ...and of course Trump did NOTHING in response.

So, Putin gets to do whatever he wants at Ukraine for the next 50 days, but after that, look out - trump says he's going to impose tariffs. Yes, tariffs!!.....ummm, like he's already imposing on every country in the world.

It is important to note that since the US does virtually no trade with Russia, then tariffs on them amount to a nothing burger.

Apparently, a report from the Pentagon reveals that our aging intercontinental ballistic missile cylos must be replaced. Money has been set aside for it.

However,
the greedy, self-serving CONVICTED FELON in the Oval has decided he will take those funds to spruce-up and retrofit the 747 plane given to him by middle-east billionaires in Qatar seeking influence - and keep the luxury plane for himself after he leaves office.

As in first term, Trump continues to divert funds for his policy priorities or refuse to spend funds approved by congress.  For example, stealing FEMA disaster fund to pay for immigration enforcement.  Hypocrite Trump has a bad habit of doing what he falsely accuses Biden administration of doing.   Contempt for the rule of law is among characteristics of fascism.

His chairman of the Joint Chiefs  said explicitly about Trump that

"he is fascist to the core!!" 

On MSNBC, Maddow warns that US government has devolved into a dictatorship.  Under Trump administration, one man rule, secret police, concentration camps and dismantling of checks and balances.  The depth of his disregard for civil liberties, political pluralism, separation of powers and legal constraints indicate an authoritarian regime.
