adolf trump's *SECOND* impeachment, while a total disgrace to him and the entire republican party that enabled him, is also notable because it is the first time an impeached president actually received votes AGAINST HIM from members of his own party.

Nixon would have received votes against him from his own Republicans for certain, but he resigned in disgrace before they could do so officially.

The National Mall will be closed to the general public on Inauguration Day due to
security concerns, caused by trump and his brainwashed terrorist-cult that he incites.

An official said that the public will not be able to get down to the mall where traditionally
thousands gather to watch the new president be sworn in.

something akin to the 9/11 "truther" movement that has festered on the internet

and removal from office, with most brainwashed Republicans standing firmly behind him.

Overall, 50% of voters nationwide say Trump should be impeached
and removed from office, while 48% are opposed.

Pence calls to congratulate Harris

Vice President Mike Pence phoned Vice President-elect Kamala Harris Thursday to offer
his congratulations and any assistance before she is sworn in as his successor.

Petulant Donald Trump has refused to call President-elect Joe Biden as is customary
for an outgoing president. He plans to skip Biden's inauguration and the ceremonial
peaceful transfer of power between two presidents.

Trump however, is DEMANDING a military celebration of himself immediately prior to
Biden's inauguration in Washington, D.C., then flee the city before Biden is sworn in.

Pence and his family plan to attend the Jan. 20 inauguration.

The Pentagon has authorized up to 25,000 National Guard members for the inauguration,
the National Guard Bureau said in a news release Friday.

His team appears to be a very good one, at least on paper. Furthermore Biden has insisted and they seem to be the types that will proceed in the interests of  THE AMERICAN PEOPLE -- not an agenda specific to one person (unlike the trump-regime)
