New York CNN —
Prices at the pump continue to plunge, dropping the US average for gasoline below where it was when Russia invaded Ukraine.
A gallon of regular gas now fetches $3.47 nationally, according to AAA. That is below the $3.54 average on February 24, the day Russia invaded Ukraine.

That is down about 29 cents in the past month!!
This week marks the first time since February that the national average has fallen below $3.50 a gallon. Gas prices were climbing in January and February as investors worried about disruptions from a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
With help from President Biden the national average is now down by $1.55 since hitting a record high of $5.02 a gallon this past June, which was due mostly to Putin's attack on Ukraine.

Trump-appointed Florida federal Judge Aileen Cannon ‘slammed’ by appeals court in Trump case
MIAMI HERALD -
Three months ago, U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon
made the controversial call to appoint an independent
expert to examine documents — including classified
government materials — legally seized by FBI agents
from Donald Trump’s Palm Beach residence.
She did so despite expressing initial doubts in her own
ruling about intervening in the politically charged case.
In a scathing ruling issued Thursday night,
a federal appellate court in Atlanta found she should have
heeded her first legal concerns!! A three-judge panel,
all Republican-appointees like Cannon, reversed
her wrongful decision to name a “special master”
because she had no authority to do so and
effectively killed the case - as legal experts now consider
a potential appeal unlikely to succeed.
