It is presumed this investigation is rapidly winding down,  but the Jan 6 probe for inciting Insurrection may take quite a bit longer.

DeSantis calling fraud on Trump’s 2020 election fraud theories

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Friday that the “theories”
put out by disgraced former President Donald Trump and
his accomplices following the 2020 election
were “unsubstantiated” and “did not prove to be true!”

   “I’ve said many times, the election is what it is.
    All those theories that were put out, did not prove to be true!”

 Now DeSantis tries to distance himself from Trump claim about stolen election.  But he still made voting harder in Florida to fight virtually non-existing voting fraud.  He labels Trump indictments as politically motivated weaponization of government.  However the claims from republicans and right wing media contradict those of legal experts who report legal reasonings behind indictments are sound.

   There is no chance to unify a biased, racist, criminal partisan
republican population who feeds off social media attention
and division. The only reason why a guy like Trump ever could
get in is because the strength of MAGA partisan hate is so powerful
that even a wife-cheating, convicted tax fraud, selfish, 'selling out
America to Russia,' serial liar still gets a shot...its embarrassing.

DeSantis is correct but less than 10% of their MAGA base will even think about it.

DeSantis has obviously changed gameplans.  He is reiterating again today that the indicted crime boss leader of the GOP did in fact lose the 2020 election, despite all his denials and lies to the contrary aimed at his gullible cult.
