Obama cancels meeting after being called 'son of a girl'

After being called "son of a girl" by Rodrigo Duterte, President Obama has decided against meeting one-on-one with the president of the Philippines.

Obama will instead meet with the president of South Korea Tuesday afternoon, according to National Security Council spokesperson Ned Price.

Rodrigo Duterte recieved 72% of the allotted delegates...and the popular vote, he's in, and nobody is going to remove him...he's doing exactly like he said he was going to do once he became President, no big deal; the people are behind him. and recent Obama's intrusion into another countries affaires (especially when it has nothing to do with the USA...those of you who have a hard time understanding just what is meant by being called "the son of a girl" I recommend that you 'google-it' to gain comprehensional development in regards to Philippino culture/slang sub-phrasing, nothing new..they do it everyday in L.A. Duterte's aides realized it would be unwise to take on the most powerful official in the world, and that there would be a price to pay for insulting the president of the United States.

"I do not want to quarrel with the most powerful country on the planet," said Duterte.

I think Filipinos live in the past. The United States USED to be respected as the most powerful country. Obama is the most laughed at and weakest president in US history. A price to pay for insulting Obama.

What price would that be? Iran insulted Obama and the US repeatedly and were awarded 11 billion dollars. Duterte should keep on insulting him so his country could get paid too.

Philippine President has a combative style and previously accused other leaders too such as the Pope and UN chief.  In a rare sign of respect, he regrets insulting Obama and says "we look forward to ironing out our differences.... and working on mutually responsive ways for both countries."

United States is one of the Philippines largest trading partners and a key security ally providing millions in financial assistance.

Rodrigo Duterte has the nickname of 'Donald Trump of the East', so may be he acts like that as well.
