My idea of free speech does not include my children or grandchildren entering a crouch of a cartoon woman. Just say'n.
No I know - it involves you having the right to sue the guys that did that - aswell as Trumps right as an elected leader to silence people that don’t agree with him - because it offended you rather than you changing based on others having free speech - that was the entire point (that is American free speech at its finest - free speech unless I disagree and sue you) - you guys are actually more pathetic than North Korea and Russia in that regard at least they own up to the fact they don’t have it
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

I almost feel that in America, freedom of speech is subjective. A lot of people quote the first amendment in cases where it is not applicable and will die on that hill. I do sometimes wonder if we as Americans were as educated as they claim to be, if there would be more civility. A lot of these fights are due to the fact that Americans do not know how to communicate or listen effectively.
Just a clown... doing clown things

I think what you have to consider is that while there are cities/parts of districts in Texas are spread wide, they are sparsely populated. No one lives in a lot of Texas. In Oregon, we have six congressional districts. Four of the six have atleast some portion in the Portland metro. One is district has both Eugene (U.of O) and Corvallis (OSU), and most of the coast. Then one district, district 2, encompasses all of central and eastern Oregon. It looks wild on a map. No one lives there though, with the exception of the Bend area. Wyoming has one congressional seat. The entire state. It's not about geography. It's about population.

It's just that in the past week, i've been led to believe using thevword Democrats is somehow inflammatory. Double standards, you know? Nice attempt to try and distract from the topic at issue - the remainder of 2025, including the holidays, are going to be horribly expensive. Start saving a few months early so you aren’t hurting in November/December. Ya boy wished that I die - with a F-bomb I might add - for bringing this critical issue to people’s attention. Talk about thin-skinned. Save up early, and you won’t be hurting when December comes. I don’t wish anyone to die - except Putin and Netanyahu - I wouldn’t cry over those two - I just found it funny that the “world” is on the verge of world war 3 versus the biggest atomic nation on earth - a conflict Trump is a part of as he moves his nuclear submarines closer over here - in such a world I find it funny to talk Christmas presents - I am sorry - but yeah mostly because it is just so American as I said - it is like a school girl discussing with her girlfriends what makeup to wear the next day while a school shooting is happening But of course I know it is also a problem with expensive presents - and of course you can discuss that as well - I don’t know why it just came across funny to me - maybe it is just because it confirmed my presumption of a typical American
Some of us spend four figures on Christmas presents. So accounting for a 40% price increase due to the Braindead Dotard’s Tariffs and other economic mismanagement is something reasonable adults would need to account for early.
And it’s not like everything is cheap right now either. The cost of fresh vegetables rose 39% last month per the BLS, and beef is about 30-50% more than last year depending on the cut and the quality. That Tri tip I paid $24 for the last few years is now suddenly $33. So yeah, saving money for the year’s bigger spending events is even harder because of President Dementia J Chump, who still is unaware that Alaska is an American state.

I sure hope karma catches up with this disgusting criminal family.
Magas are huge blame for this being able to take place. I really think a caveman vs a maga on an IQ test. The caveman would totally blowout the maga morons. Hope they enjoy eating those tariffs

Thanks Trump, families are now shopping at pawn stores for back to school supplies

And it will only get worse - how many countries goods have been hit by tariffs yet ? Canada, China and Mexico ? There are 194 countries in the world apart from you - all of which in a few months will have tariffs on their items as well - not only will you not be able to import from them instead of those three mentioned countries trying to “cheat” around paying the tariffs - you will also be tariffed on pretty much everything from cars to pharmaceuticals and everything in between - and China is basically just cheap crap ! Try pay 15% on advanced machinery (that your industry and healthcare needs - so not that you have a choice but to pay) or an expensive car from EU - that can easily amount to 100k - 1 million difference in price
Don't mention the frogs - we don't want to scare the toddler - we want him to sleep

That’s most certainly the point of this thread, you nailed it. Just mind-boggling stupidity from a party who is now taxing the living hell out of everyone and everything. All because President “I TAEK DEMENTIA TESTS ON THE REG” thinks tariffs are a wise economic policy.

This is your friendly reminder that I was right, the pedo-protecting droolers were wrong, and Dementia J Trump’s tariffs hiked prices across the board just in time for Christmas!

It really is amazing that it’s crickets when it comes to Trump’s affordability crisis, just in time for Christmas, as I predicted. The trolls criticized me for this take months ago, but they are free to apologize here for their bad takes.
You will never get an apology from a maga, their brains have been taken over by trump and they dont believe anything in the world except the words that come out of their idols mouth.
Trumps help for parents at Christmas time "BUY YOUR KIDS LESS PENCILS AND DOLLS" The guy is a genius at helping parents save money. There is no doubt trump deserves a nobel prize in finance

LOL, I agree, it's not a very popular policy.

Groceries at Walmart went up 5% in one year! What a great accomplishment by Dotard J Trump!
On the bright side, the useful idiot doesn’t know where he is half the time. On the downside, he has proven extremely effective at increasing inflation.

dont forgot that hes making all of our allies hate us and what he fails to grasp is that even the greatest empire in the world went down " THE ROMAN EMPIRE"
He thinks we can take down the world, but we cant. Hes gonna over extend our military, which was one of the things that the roman empire did that helped their down fall.
As soon as we start having dead soldiers because of trumps stupidity watch what happens. Trump will be hiding again in the bunker at the white house, lolll

Yeah a bit of history lesson could do a lot of good - but yeah empires rise and fall all the time - I would argue every European nation you guys can mention has been a big empire some point in time - I actually think the British Empire was the biggest and not the Roman - without having investigated it fully - but the British Empire pretty much ruled the entire world at one point in time

I know, right? And he just learned the word "groceries" too! Maybe one day he'll take off the diapers and put some big boy pants on.

Multi-millionaire Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has advice on how you can get a chicken wing, a broccoli floret, a tortilla & an M&M all for $3.00 a day
"We had run almost 1,000 simulations, and between $3 and $4 is a fair number if you can have access to that food. I just saw new numbers that were run: a full day, meaning 3 full square meals and a snack, is about $15.64." Instead of running 1 thousand simulations, try walking into a fucking grocery store! Try giving your staff a per diem of 15 bucks a day!
You're lucky to get one meal for $15! She's absolutely clueless & someone needs to hit the mute button on this wench who has carried water for Our Fragile Little Flower since his 1st disastrous term.

Wow, that's horribly out of touch. Equally bad as billionaire Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent saying that the "average mom and pop retirees" own 5, 10, or 12 homes.
None of these people have been into a grocery store in years. Sooooo out of touch
