This morning Trump tweeted "If the partisan Dems ever tried to impeach, I would first head to the U.S Supreme Court."

WH aides are drawing straws to see who has to tell him things don't work that way.

He should be impeached for being so farking stupid!

LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Federal judges say Michigan congressional, legislative districts unconstitutionally gerrymandered; order redraw for 2020.

I wouldn't be surprised to see other states take similar action.

Courts have determined flaws in US electoral system which threaten democracy.  Maps are unfairly drawn to favor one party over another.  Voting ID laws suppress eligible voters such as minorities.

States with small population are overrepresented in government while states with big populations are underelected.  As a result, many votes are wasted and the will of the majority is blocked. Reforms are needed because problem may become worse in the future due to increasing concentration of population.

Reckless Trump's withdrawal of US from "arms trade treaty" is a mistake that threatens to make the world less safe.  The treaty is aimed at discouraging sale of weapons to countries that do not protect human rights.   It has no impact on domestic gun rights or laws in the US according to Arms control association.  

Instead Trump is emboldering terrorists and violence worldwide.  He is misguided to abandon a landmark achievement that improves accountability and responsibility in international trade of conventional weapons such as guns, tanks, aircrafts and warships.  It is overwhelmingly approved by 193 members of United nations and ratified in 101 countries.  According to reuters poll, majority of americans think gun laws should be stricter.

Trump's immigration policies have been mostly failures.  Recently, a federal judge in California has ordered Trump administration to search nearly 50,000 records to identify migrant children separated by US border customs and border protection agency.  This order is the result of a lawsuit by American civil liberty union. 

Migrant policy institute and fact checker snopes rated false that under Obama, children are also separated from parents,  For past presidents, criminal prosecution for illegal border crossing is rare except for known criminals and repeat offenders.  However, Trump introduced a new zero tolerance policy that lead to more criminal prosecutions for any illegal border crossing and separation of children from families that sparked international outrage and condemnations.

Liar Trump promises biggest infrastructure investment in US history during election campaign.  Actually, infrastructure is the area where Trump has accomplished the least.  Most of the funding in his inadequate proposal comes from private public partnerships which might not work. 

US needs trillions of dollars to repair and modernize crumbling infrastructure according to American society of civil enginners. Infrastructures are the fundamental facilities in a country that are necessary for its economy to function.  For examples, roads, bridges, water treatment, etc.  Infrastructure investment is far superior in boosting economic growth and creating jobs than tax cuts or military spending.

However Trump has made less revenue available because of unnecessary tax cuts and overspending on wrong priorities.  US overspends more on military than next 8 top countries combined.  Also average US household tax burden is among the lowest for rich nations.  These are reasons why many countries can afford to spend more on infrastructure than the US.

I don't know if his thinking on the subject evolved into his present stance or if he lied & said what the thought wanted to be heard.

It's been 5 months since Secretary of Defense Mattis left & still no permanent replacement. Trump prefers the "acting" title so he doesn't have to get confirmations. He does everything possible to get what he wants & screw everyone else.

Put down the phone & the hamberders & get to work.

Trump is more concerned about his approval ratings & what the talking heads are saying on TV than doing something positive for the country.

Mueller has sent a letter to justice department criticizing Barr's portrayal of findings in Russia investigations according to washingtonpost.  Barr has lost credibility by acting like Trump's defense lawyer.  He appears to be protecting Trump and spinning Mueller's findings in Trump's favor.  Evidences of obstruction of justice are so understated that public confidence is threatened.  According to NPR/PBS poll, overwhelming majority of americans want Mueller's full report to be made public.  Also Barr and Mueller should testify before congress.

During the hearing today it was revealed neither Barr or his staff read the underlying evidence and yet decided the evidence wasn't sufficient.
